FELICITARI UPLOADER///// I am impressed when I see so much interest from foreigners for our country and I am glad that Bucharest is a city enormously attractive to them. CONGRATULATIONS Uploader

  • Super video! Thank you! Dear Friends! I have to mention that I am visiting these places every 2 weeks and I can see the evolution. Your video was recorded more than 1 year ago. Today there are a lot of changes. For somebody who has positive thinking, can appreciate the improvement, the evolution and efforts. I thank you for this video and I please you to re-fresh the recordings with news images for accurate information! Thank you in advance!

  • Lipscani's a work in progress; it's quite a cozy little area in Bucharest;

  • I visited this poor city. The style of life is really bad there: poor, laxist, "bordelique", ugly. No urban plan. Wild dogs. Strange architecture. Powerty. Dirtyness. And so on. Romanians wish to be like French or Italians. But they are just stupid. But not angry. Just stupid.

  • @azdbio you're nothing but a scum. stupid ignorant. i bet that you are proud at yourself. wake up, you're only a whore.

  • @azdbio if u don't like,stay in your fucking country...and never come here....

  • @angelspir That is exactly what I wish to do and what I friendly advice to others: never go to Bucharest:there is nothing to do nor to see but dirtyness!

  • The author follows the western propaganda.

It is just a stupid person without any own opinion.

  • Ceausescu should have been totally smash it !

  • Bucharest is one of the most terrible towns in the world.

    It is just horrible.

  • @azdbio dude u have mental problems????i think

if u don't like why u are looking????

  • How ugly !

  • @azdbio u fucking french,with your fucking ugly womans

  • Bucuresti is so nice!! Greetings from Srbija=Serbia :)

  • Bucharest is the most beautiful city in eastern Europe

  • one day I will visit Romania

  • Buc is a nice city to live in..... People living in USA,UK,Germany, etc they really think that they are the center of the Univ... they just keep reproducing the same ideas,repetitively...they rarely have pers opinions based on their own exp...they say only what they were told.... that there are gypsies,poverty,thieves...but how many really faced probl with these issues?...I think ..not many.... Shit happens everywhere....Bear in mind...You're not cleverer just bc you say that others are stupid.

  • this is a 3 years old video... now everything is changed there and it's absolutly fantastic :D

  • Bucharest is an amazing city, I had a great time there and I hope I ll manage again soon!

  • @Hungaria56 Hungarians have more gypsies than Romania.

  • IF YOU WANT TO GO THERE THINK TWICE.XX

  • @wernernon78 Why? Our lack of infrastructure?

  • @alex4ucj no no no...Its looks good , but they try to still my money twice, even the taxi driver...apart of that is no to bad..

  • If you wanna visit Romania go to Transilvania,Bucharest,Constanta....

    Search for Sfinx romania.

  • I am thinking about going to Bucharest this June. I don't speak any Romanian, will I have problems getting around the city? Also what is the best way to get to there from Krakow?

  • @bmtimv it`s enough to know english;)everyone speaks it here

  • @alicex25 Yet barely 10% of the population can speak it properly.

    ~Another Romanian

  • @TheBetaFox And yet our spelling and grammar is still better than most americans... :)

  • @rubynspeedy By 'our', I hope you're reffering to about 0.01% of Romanians, because most people in this country can barely speak their own language properly.

  • @bmtimv You won't, most of us speak English. i think the best way to get there is with the plane, and then go see the old historical center, and Parliament palace (biggest building from Europe) I think it's open for tourists everyday. If you get bored of Bucharest later on try the cities from Transylvania Brasov and Sibiu's historical centers and maybe even Sighisoara or Cluj-Napoca.

  • @bmtimv Also if you dig modern castles and stuff, Peles Castle hould definitely be on your list and maybe Bran Castle also.

  • am from sounth korea and i went to romania in 2006. bucharest was OK except the fact that there were lots of homeless dogs and beggers.... and sometimes people looked at me and said 'sayonara' or 'ni hao' which i realized that there are not many asians in romania. also i had to tell them 'sunt din corea de sud, nu nord' cuz it seemed to me that romanians dont really aware of the situation of which north korea is going through now. anyway, im going romania this year :) i hope it's been changed.

  • @highkung

Aw, the worst that could happen is that people will ask you how it's like in beijing. The chinese are like the 3rd largest minority group in bucharest and most tend to assume all asians come from china...

  • Comment removed

  • there some other issues in this central area, and one of them is the fact that all this historical area that you saw is just a very small part, there are even more interesting historical places to see in Bucharest, very close to this area, but unfortunately these parts don't get attention at all, so they are in a slow but shure process of decay. Another thing that I realy don't like is that there are no places where you can just sit down without paying for a tea or something.

    visit Romania!

  • an update str gabroveni its completly fixed

  • poor dirty city

  • @DN507 nobody gives a damn about what you think

  • i work @strada blanari :P behind that coffee shop.

  • I am an Asian, I would like to visit it, am I welcome? (Last time, I went to Czech Republic, the people were not that nice, especially to Asians)

  • @joseph0086 Romania is a welcoming country with nice people. Does not matter if you're in Asia or another continent, people are very welcoming.

  • @joseph0086 Pls come to Bucharest, the romanians are friendly, they are a sort of democratic-entertaiment people, they don't pay attention to the colour or religion...

  • @joseph0086 :) Yes! I personally like Asians. I can't give you a reason. Is just how I feel towards them and I would so much like to have asian friends. ;)

  • @joseph0086 In Romania you don't have problems if you are Asian. The only problem we have here with chinesse is that they are not very good drivers but they are nice people so the only problem with chinesse is driving the car. We respect old cultures so we consider chinesse as interesting people to chat with...

  • According to BMI, Romania's economy will lag behind Europe's average during the next 5 years. Political turmoil, social unrest, sluggish to negative real GDP, high levels of corruption and tax evasion, negative balance of trade and a growing fiscal budget deficit are key issues. Prospects for foreign direct investments are low to negative, due to a bureaucratically hostile business environment and high FX and country risks. The quality of real estate is the worst in Europe (high price/quality).

  • i'm romanian and my writting is not too good. so i'm not from Bucuresti, i living in Targu-Jiu, a small, almost peacefull town from Gorj county, but i can say that i'm disgussed by Bucuresti, Craiova, Timisoara and other cities. Bucuresti has too many holes on the streets, it's dusty, smoggy and it's pretty dangerous because of gipsies. In the past Bucuresti was called The small Paris but now the name it's just a sweet dream. Sad, but all of this it's because of those shitty guys from Parliment

  • @h3xyournightmare actually, Bucharest isn't all bad. perhaps you should pay it a visit before you make your mind. :)

  • Or ar zice bucurestenii.

  • I'm from Bucharest and I love my city. And by the way @CristiDoOm I like those golden watches that your talking about.

  • i live in bucharest,is a beautiful city and a horrible one in the same time,it depends where youre going :). the one in the council are some idots because the boy public items thar w don't need like golden watch.they don't save any money.we hope in couple yrs the council to change and they 'll be replaced with some competent one(sry for my english,i;m not a genius)

  • da! si asta e Bucurestiul meu

  • A tourist destination with low prices and beautiful is Romania.

    A beer is 1.5 - 3 EUR, coffee is 1 to 1.5 eur, a hot dog is 1.3 to 1.8 eur.

A trip by train from Bucharest to the sea is 8 to 11 EUR (225 km).

Most beautiful places in Romania is Sinaia, Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu, Iasi, Maramures, the Danube Delta.

The capital (Bucharest) is reached in 2 to 3 hours in the mountains or the sea.

  • @onoaptelunga CORECT..pai nu sti? in ro daca ai bani ai tot!

:))) sa-mi bag pula nici in londra nu am vazut mall-uri cum are bucurestiul! bucurestiul E si o sa fie PIATA DE DESFACERE! in 10 ani o sa fie cea mai puternica capitala din est sud est EUROPA!

  • @zorilaz Bwahahahhaahahha!!!!!

  • @onoaptelunga I have currently 2 passports, have dual citizenship and now I'm in the process of renouncing my romanian citizenship. Unfourtunately the process is not entirely straightforward. It takes at least 6 months get rid of your old citizenship. I can't be forced to love a country which is mired in abuse of power, corruption....etc. Ps: Get a life instead of arguing the two sides of the coin and try to change your country for the better "capisci"...but until then "sa traesti bine"

  • Thank you very much for this nice project!

Anybody can see that here is little part of LITTLE PARIS!

There are a lot of tourists interested to see the architecture, tradition, nice buildings, to take a rest drink a juice or a beer in nice environment. I think, this place should be under protection of Bucharest, of Romania and nevertheless of EUROPE.

We all can enjoy here, but we have to restore, to repair, to protect and to supervise! for happiness of all, in the near future!

  • Metro Station of *Piata Universitatii* or *Piata Unirii* - highly recommend to check it out, especially during night time when it comes to life :-)

  • it would be a crime not to renovate those buildings

  • Is there a metro station near Lipscani?

  • @514films Piaţa Unirii and Universitate stations are the most closest to Lipscani.

  • ROMANIA !

  • best place to get drunk as fuck

  • I am honestly very impressed with how boring a video can be.

  • i am honestly impressed by the video.I live on Victoriei Ave. veery near from where u where standing and i have 2 say i'm surprised that the coordinator of lipscani are allowed you 2 just make a documentary there. keep up with what you're doing cause i like it

  • @xhris94 - Dont you even think about it. There is nothing there. If you want to vist a nice place go to Rome, Amsterdam, Budapest, Paris, Prague...etc but not Bucharest...

  • @sicce01 depends what you want from a holiday. i'm a bit of a people/culture watcher so i'm happy to go to most places really.

  • @xhris94 Do it...Bucharest is a really interesting city, with a lot of contrasts. Old and modern, History and future, nice , helpful and friendly people, good food. Really can recommend. For some people it´s not the nr. 1 destination, but if you want something different, then Bucharest is definately your destination! :)

  • @xhris94 if u are a girl, i can show u the city:P and go drink a cup of coffee or something:P

  • @cristinh91 sorry i'm not a girl, but thanks for the offer!

  • @xhris94 no prob....i can show it to u anyway:P i was making jokes:P

  • @xhris94 we can go*

  • @xhris94 if you need a guide contact me :))

  • @xhris94 You must be desperate to want to visit this roma.gipsy slum, one of Europes most ugly cities. You would be better off visiting Budapest, a real gem the pearl of the Danube.

  • This is the mark of a good travel guide... showing the good and the bad realistically, in the same measure. I walk through the area close to weekly, and can honestly say that your short report is spot on, neither sugar-coating, nor demeaning. Cheers to IYP from Bucharest!

  • @klappahunda Just a western propaganda. He is stupid
