You now how sometimes something makes you a bit uneasy and just seems wrong....well thats how I feel about this man's "preaching and teaching". My Pastor has NEVER used the pulpit to talk about his own personal opinions, the state of the church, Big name or small name preachers, evangelist, even those we are directly associated with unless they have a message of blessing or thanks for us. He has never discussed the state of the nation or whatever. It has been the Bible Word and Way of our Lord.

This reminds me of a tale once told to me some years ago (read-John 16:2) Jesus came up to a church and found a man sitting on the church steps crying and asked him what was the matter? The man replied they won't let me in here. Jesus then replied back to the man tearfully saying they won't let me in hear either. What ever happened to preaching under the unction of the Holy Spirit and letting him declare what is or isn't of God.(read-John 16: 13-15) also, 1st Corinthians 2:4-5

First, if the Christians aren't giving enough, it is an aspect of their life they obviously need to work on. That's their business. Either way, they're right where they need to be: at church, learning to better give. Second, if having resources to use for the people OUT THERE is so important...what about the people THERE, sitting, listening to your sermon?

Please don't make assumptions about me when you don't know me.

My leader is Christ, not a self appointed preacher who wear a title. Christ never gave a Pastor authority to Lord over others. Also, I don't have or need a Pastor. Using my brain, guidance of the Holy Spirit and reading my own bible taught me more than attending some religious institution of unwise men.

Also, you've misunderstood the scripture cause neither Christ nor Paul was making a living or Salary preaching.

@RINGO4LIFE dude pastors are biblical.. you need a church.. churches are bilblical... how do you read the bible and not want that? and as for paul, he CHOSE not to take a salary. in 1 corinthians 9 15-19 in which you cited, you failed to realize that paul said they were rights provided by God. Paul repeatedly talks about his preferences in 1 corinthians, but makes it clear that it is his preference not to take money or anything for what he does, not God's command. 1. I never said Pastors are biblical, I said I don't need one. In that time the people need them, today we live in the Information Age.

2. Anyone today could claim to be a Pastor, yet that doesn't mean the Father sent them.

3. We the people are the Church not a building or religious institution of men. There are no scriptures teaching that I need a Church. How could the Church need a church? Please wake up!

4. No where in the bible are Pastors given a salary (Pure Lies).

The problem with religious people like you is your not reading or understanding the bible.

Telling me I need a Pastor and a Church when I am the Church and know/understand my bible front to back isn't wise. Its like telling a grown man he need to go back to school elementary school when he already graduated College.

I find that most so called christians put too much faith in Pastors as if they are all knowing, as if you the people are incapable of knowing anything without them.

I have enough knowledge and understanding of the bible that the so called pastor in the video could be one of my students. That isn't a prideful comment, its fact, yet I don't wear the title Pastor. He talk and sound nice to you (Because his degree is in "communication" but he doesn't have a clue what he's saying most of the time. They call them "Ear Tickling Preachers". They tell you what you want to hear or what they want to teach you to get what they need from you (MONEY).

The full context of 1 corinthians chapter 9 was about the basic needs of a minister being met in that time. The text never said a Pastor should receive a monetary salary or receive a new house, car, plane or mega church.

Ministers in that time didn't have our technology. They walked from house to house and was giving food and shelter to sustain them. That is what the scripture is teaching.

If you read verse 15 to 19, PAUL made it clear he never received or used anything of this.

After Paul use the example of people living of the sacrifices in the Temple he said this.

1 Corinthians 9:14-15 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void.

He didn't use any of this cause he had a job unlike the false teacher in the video.

Paul also asked for money. And Paul is one of the most selfless men of the Bible. He had no desire for money, yet he asks Corinthians for support, because it would be impossible for him to serve without their financial support.

@RINGO4LIFE seriously? how do you think ministries are funded? and how do you think the poor get care? through the church man... we fund the church to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and reach those far from God. Tithing should all go to that. Mars Hill Church is active in planting churches, equipping leaders, and taking care of the needy. It sounds like you just had a baad experience in a church that just sat on money and didn't use it for the Gospel. I have been there as well.

Christ said: Mark 14:7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

There will always be poor/needy people. Christ said if you want to do good for them then do it, but he never told you to give loads of cash to PASTORS so they could decide what to use it for.

@RINGO4LIFE Hey man, a good chapter to read for you would be 1 corinthians 9 where, in verse 13-14, Paul says "Do you not know that those who are employed in the temple service get their food from the temple, and those who serve at the altar share in the sacrificial offerings? In the same way, the Lord commanded that those who proclaim the gospel should get their living by the gospel." Dont get me wrong.. i think a mansion and stuff is out of control. but they can make a legitimate living.

At no point in the text did it say anything about SHARE MONEY.

Sacrificial offerings in the context is talking about LIVESTOCK (Animals use for sacrifice) was also used for food.

Christians need to stop following money greed preachers. The false teacher in the video is in ministry for the money, but folks can't see it.

Paul supported his own ministry. He had a job. It doesn't take loads of cash to open your mouth to tell people about Christ.

ALL OF THESE MONEY BEGGING CHURCHES ARE IN BUSINESS FOR PROFIT. I bet the pimp in the video has a nice house, car and living well. If he is so concerned with the poor and their needs, why don't he sell his house, car and give the money to the poor?
