  • love it

  • I went to see these play at Royal Festival Hall when I was a kid it was brilliant!

  • Yay for the Countrabassoon player! :D xD :D

  • Sad to see a once great orchestra, well in the 1950's at least, struggling to get through as familiar a piece as this, You would think they could play this in their sleep, which it sounds as though they were doing. With inevitable huge cuts to the arts budget I can see at least one of the London orchestras going. On this and many more showings the Philharmonia are the very worst band by quite a long way of a very mediocre bunch indeed.

  • it would be nice if i could find the theme to planets

  • i have a recording of this orchestra with Simon Ratlle

  • uhh this is Jupiter of the Planets arrangement... be specific

  • hehe i just saw dad :)

  • At 1:17? :) Which one is he?

  • far right

  • so did I!

  • I just bough the CD for this orchestra... and I think it's a shame and a majo insult to this great CD that I found it in a dollar store...

  • I just love this orchestra, what a brass section!

  • Britains loss, I got Dutoit conducting thirty minutes away from me every weekend!

  • First class interpretation, with all the constructed maturity of a discreet conductor

  • quality orchestra

  • The philharmonia came to my school today for workshops it was well good x
