Thank you all for all of your wonderful comments! My mother was a singer in her own right, and loved to hear me sing, although hoarce, I managed to belt it out any way I could!! This was my tribute to her...Although I have ups and downs and things don't always work out, if I live my life right before God and honor Him in my daily life...all of the pain, the hurt, the stress, WILL BE WORTH IT, because in the end, I am gonna see MY Lord!
@SteelAVic18: I lost my mom in 2009. wish I had a voice like hers to sing to my mom at her homegoing. This would have brought some closure for me to be able to sing for her but I cant carry a tune. It's not that the song is inappropriate like u stated , but it probably brought some closure to her losing her mother. You don't know if her mother enjoyed hearing her sing this particular song or not. Praise God for her strength to even sing it during this difficult time. ABlessedsister.

This song was written by Steven Roberts, he;s from Northern California. It was recorded a few times, I believe. Steve taught it to me at our Music Workshop a few years ago.
The most recent recording was with the Sacramento Metro choir, Dorothy Love. I butcher the words....But verse 1, I had ups and downs but nobody knew all of hings i was going thru, i tried to be strong down through the years, but in the midst of confusion i cried so many tears. there is no bed of ease, when its over, ill claim the victory.verse 2.one day full of joy, the next day its gone, many times u feel that ur all alone, u just hang in there and do your best, ther will be stumblin blocks
