this game is amazing..anyone who has not played this..for the love of GOD go and buy it or rent it!...the fact that i got so emotionally attached to the characters of the game where i actually gave a crap what happened to them was something new! the only thing funny were the weird accents some of the characters had LOL

Yeah, the soundtrack is amazing, I love it. I remember when I was so obsessed with the songs of "Painful Memories" and "The Bulldozer". :)

@TigerFiction That's the thing. I don't rent games, and I don't go buying games on a whim. I research a lot and carefully decide what I want. That's why my game collection isn't as overblown as many YouTubers. I try to stick with a few series, and get some of the "must have" games if I feel they're good.

the day this game came out it was actually raining where I live. I put up a video of it lol.

I loved this "game" and highly recommend it. I conquered the game and had to get the platinum... it's just that good and begs to be explored that much and more.

I got it when it came out last year and really enjoyed it and there was a night I played it non-stop since I wanted to know what happened next. I got the best ending like Mike did. Was one of my top 10 favourite games of last year.

To be honest I get a little scared playing Heavy Rain at night - some of the action sequences are intense (*cough* DOCTOR - that's what you need to know ;) ) But yeah, I agree, one of the top games of last year.

Heavy Rain, I have finished it two weeks ago. It is great game, awesome storytelling and the multiple paths is always nice. I have played through the game once and I think I got the best ending possible which was a bit of a suprise.

Perhaps my experience with mystery games and puzzle solving helped out figuring out the puzzles. The final scenes were really spectacular and the character development was fantastic.

My main downside is the voice acting, there were some strange choices...still good

Multiple paths call for multiple playthroughs which I am definitely down for! I myself got a really nice ending as well although I sometimes think that a sad ending would better fit the game (time to kill off the main characters on purpose LOL), but yes, some of the voice acting was a bit sketchy...but overall, well done.

I more into the japanese scene (FF13/Resonance of Fate/Valkyria chronicals/Star ocean 4 etc), but i am interested in this game. My only worry would be the controls. I have the demo, and i seriously cant even get passed 10 seconds of it.

It feels like they wanted to make a movie, but changed their minds after it was already done. So you end up with weird controls. A good example is walking (which i have NO idea how to do), its so hard to walk a straight line lol.

Im a bit worried due to this.

I honestly think you will enjoy this game as a lot of Japanese titles emphasize on story as well. With the walking controls - I know what you mean. I was struggling with the demo myself, but trust me, in the real game it is less of a hassle. Give it a go and let me know! :D

i saw it in blockbusters here in the uk for £8 or £9 preowned. Don't own a ps3 yet, but when i get one, this will be my first, if not one of my first games. Looks incredible.

If I ever do play this, I'm thinking of renting it, sure you can make multiple outcomes but I've heard it's kinda short. Also the controls suck but the developers make up for it with naked women! (Nah just kidding, naked women or not, I still would like to give it a rental)
