I'd probably trade my 3000 in for this if I can somehow download the games and movies I already have on UMD without having to buy them again, otherwise, I have no problem with my 3000.
Microsoft and Sony aren't really ripping off the Wii's motion sensor, infact, they are making it even better. And besides, motion sensors and cameras are the way of the future for gaming, it's almost impossible to avoid using motion sensors. It just makes you feel more apart of the game, it would be crazy not to use motion controllers for games, people just like being interactive with games. And that Playstation motion control they unveiled was only a prototype, yeah the design was pretty dumb

Psp go looks weird. Look at he high price. DSi seems to be better now, but then again, more ppl would probably buy the PSP go just because oft he branding.
also need a psp go to replace my broken one also because of all the contents coming out. Those controllers are prototypes as the demonstrators said, and I dont mind that they didnt make a ps3 slim. I got the ps2 slim back in the day but was nothing special to the brick model aside the loss in a hard drive slot.
The PS Motion controller destroys Nintendo's. It's much more accurate. The Wii remote has sorta of a preset motions. Like in Zelda. You had to swing your Wii mote to the sides. if you slowly moved it to the side nothing would happen.
I i were to get a PSP i would get the GO. Cause if you go on a long trip somewhere you might forget one of your UMDs and be pissed. But with the GO its stored right in.

My opinion based on the past videogame generations, and what I was watching at E3, may not be the best thing in the world. But remember, it's just MY opinion. I think that the PS3 should stay true to it's whole RPG and Adventure thing that it started with FF. 360 should stick to the shooters and sports. Wii should stay kiddy, and family friendly. That way, no one is a fanboy.
Sony on the other had put the camera on the TV and has it track the ball thats on top of the wand...kind of like how the movie cameras track the motion capture body suites with the balls. I think it was smart that Nintendo came out with this now because if Sony trys to take Nintendo to court Nintendo can make a counter suite.
The thing that surprises me is that no one mentioned that the Sony's motion controller is almost the same as Nintendos. Actually they both stole each others ideas. Nintendo stole the 6 axis accelerometers idea thats in the controller...thats whats in the PLUS in the Wiimote Plus and Sony stole (but did the opposite of what Nintendo did) by using a camera for tracking the remote. Nintendo has the camera within the wiimote itself which is what the bar you put by your TV tracks.

Don't hate because all these corporate developers (rockstar, epic, ubisoft etc..) only care about making money. Be a realists, PS3 has not been doing a very good job with games until half way down 2009 AND 2010, sales were not good enough to compare to 360 or Wii. Sad, but true (although now PS3 is gonna be doing really good). Anyways, these independent game developers needed to make money again, and by relying only on one major corporation (Microsoft, Sony etc..), that can be troubling.
By relying on two major corporations, these independent developers are making money one way or another. Some exclusives obviously will stay exclusives, but when people are desperate for money certain rules change. I remember when GTA was only a PS exclusive. Look at it now, it's doing a hell of a lot better on Xbox than Sony.
A really great summary but would be so much better if you could be showing us pictures and videos while you talk about it. It's so simple and makes videos so much more exciting.

I was really pumped to see everything sony had to offer at this years E3, already owning a 60 gig ps3, the price cut wasnt a big issue for me, but all the exclusive titles coming out and the motion controller really got me excited. What they were able to do with the different weapons especially in the motion demo could make for some pretty awesome online minigmae experiences with friends, even for use in home or something. But all in all, i was really happy with all sony ahd to offer.

They SAID the motion controller was an engineering prototype, and they SAID the PSP Go! is coming out in October, you have to start making better notes ;)
They did announce a release date for the PSP go of Oct 1, 2009 and they dud say the motion sensor controllers were very rough prototypes and not close to being the finished product.
As for the PSP go, I was waiting for the announcement and was underwhelmed. Especially with the price-point. I decided to buy the PSP 3000 as my first hand-held gaming unit. I got the console, 3 games and case bundle from Future Shop on sale for $144.99! $100 less than the "go".

yup and i cant stand people who say the ps3 sucks, and complain about the price. you get by far the most bang for your buck. comparing the ps3 and 360 is like comparing a ford explorer (big hunk of crap) to a ferrari or something. of course its gonna be more $. Oh and by the way the only console I own is the 360, since I can game with friends online. I would have the PS3 if my friends didn't have the 360.
I've never been that interested in the PSP (in all its previous forms). However, I've always been interested in digital download devices, and of course, I some of those Playstation franchises that will be making their appearance on the PSP Go! At this point, I'm very excited to see what else the PSP Go! has coming for it, I think I'll be getting it when it comes out this Fall.
and personally for me the xbox update is going to be way better than ps3 and nintendo new motion sensor and an interactive virtual person way more. And just for the record i have all three wii ps3 and xbox

I don't understand how you categorized them with "Nintendo - Talked about software", "Microsoft - about hardware" and "Sony - both", because the way I see it they all talked equally about software and hardware:
Nintendo: Games + Wii Motion Plus and Wii Vitality Sensor
Microsoft: Games + Motion sensing
Sony: Games + Motion sensing
The only difference is that I can see is that Nintendo talked almost just about their own games, while both Sony and MS talkt both about exclusives and 3rd party.
Are you kiding me? Microsoft just had their keynote first. There have been Rumors of Ps3 Motion Sensing since the release of the wii. And ps3 does have the eye and Sixaxis anyway. If anything, both Microsoft and Sony are "copying" the Wii.

Just a couple of clarifications.
They did announce a release date for the PSP go of Oct 1, 2009 and they dud say the motion sensor controllers were very rough prototypes and not close to being the finished product.
As for the PSP go, I was waiting for the announcement and was underwhelmed. Especially with the price-point. I decided to buy the PSP 3000 as my first hand-held gaming unit. I got the console, 3 games and case bundle from Future Shop on sale for $144.99! $100 less than the "go".

yup and i cant stand people who say the ps3 sucks, and complain about the price. you get by far the most bang for your buck. comparing the ps3 and 360 is like comparing a ford explorer (big hunk of crap) to a ferrari or something. of course its gonna be more $. Oh and by the way the only console I own is the 360, since I can game with friends online. I would have the PS3 if my friends didn't have the 360.

I've never been that interested in the PSP (in all its previous forms). However, I've always been interested in digital download devices, and of course, I some of those Playstation franchises that will be making their appearance on the PSP Go! At this point, I'm very excited to see what else the PSP Go! has coming for it, I think I'll be getting it when it comes out this Fall.

and personally for me the xbox update is going to be way better than ps3 and nintendo new motion sensor and an interactive virtual person way more. And just for the record i have all three wii ps3 and xbox

its a good device...but i dont see why they didnt stay with teh old one...the psp go looks stupid...and i cant imagin it feeling good in your hands...the controller part is too thin etc...i oike my ds lite and my psp 3000

I don't understand how you categorized them with "Nintendo - Talked about software", "Microsoft - about hardware" and "Sony - both", because the way I see it they all talked equally about software and hardware:
Nintendo: Games + Wii Motion Plus and Wii Vitality Sensor
Microsoft: Games + Motion sensing
Sony: Games + Motion sensing
The only difference is that I can see is that Nintendo talked almost just about their own games, while both Sony and MS talkt both about exclusives and 3rd party.

Are you kiding me? Microsoft just had their keynote first. There have been Rumors of Ps3 Motion Sensing since the release of the wii. And ps3 does have the eye and Sixaxis anyway. If anything, both Microsoft and Sony are "copying" the Wii.

damn. I was really hoping for a price cut! That thing is expensive. And a slim wudv been awesome! I go house to house a lot, and it wudv been easier to transport. The psp go looks awesome. I have the original 1000 series. As long as the don't stop selling umd's, I'm good....
