I feel that prog/space rock is the successor to psychedelic and bands like Captain Beyond and Hawkwind are great.

Also check out the Canterbury scene groups like, Matching Mole, Soft Machine, etc. Wikipedia is a good resource for psychedelic bands.

60s. music never gets old its timeless and you should cheack out The Grateful Dead and Quick Silver messenger service and Jimi Hendrix and Jefferson Airplane :) i would glady recomend more

  • Thank u very much!!! yea i would like it if you recomended more, i have already checked out the other bands you mentioned thanks!!!

  • @grimgrimdeath666 60s music was without a doubt the best but that doesn't mean that all modern music sucks. most mainstream stuff does suck like hell but stuff like Seasick Steve, Nick Cave, and The White Stripes are the best music of the decade.

  • @Django5198 I definetely agree. Jack White is a fuckin genius. He's like best friends with Jimmy Page and all the greats, because he has the same inspirations and makes the same kind of music, like going in the same direction. That's definetely what I wanna do.

  • @xShigureSohmax Yeah I'm glad you agree. I believe that it's people like him who are trying to keep the world of classic rock and blues alive so 10/10 to him. I've got all the White Stripes, Dead Weather, and Raconteus albums.
