@marshallvalvestate the roush mustangs with the 5.4L supercharged were 427 horse power and came out of the box with 427 badges on them. to my knowledge none of the 4.6l roush mustangs has 427 badges on them. he must have added them, in his defense he probably has every bit of 420 something horse with his setup

@ilovemyglock30 None of these people know what they are talking about. The 427 represents the HORSEPOWER, not the engine size. They only come in 4.6L with a Roushcharger and suspension and brake mods. Roush never made a 427 with a 5.4L.

@ilovemyglock30 You are correct sir! So far, that's the only mustang I'm aware of that come with the 5.4. However, Roush makes a 540rh that murders the GT500, still with the 4.6 though.

@ilovemyglock30 Do some research on the Roush mustangs. Your statements are incorrect. The Roush mustangs DO NOT come with a 5.4. All S197 Roush mustangs come in a 4.6l. The 427 as Chamsdrop said represents the stock HP that it came with. This guy did NOT add any badges to his ride...its exactly how it came from the Roush factory. Read up.

Delk performance in lebanon Tn did the work. there is a shop in the Atlanta area called Injected Engineering that I've heard good about. they might be closer for you.

@lg3822 nice roush by the way where did you get your's dyno tuned at? im in tn as well an am planning on twin turboing my shelby gt and am trying to figure out where to get it tuned after i install it myself. haha

pretty much all of my engine mods are listed in the u-tube description above. Other than that I had 3 more gauges, TR6060 trans swap done, upgraded the fuel system to the fore precision triple pump hat with two pumps, bigger fuel lines, rails and 69lb injectors. And we put an 8 rib setup for the serpentine belt. all this was about 20,000, but you could probably get just cams installed for around 1500. (continued...)

the car is running about 15 lbs boost. I had a shop here in tn do the build, so far i have 8200 miles on the new motor. It is still running great. thanks for the compliments. I've got a list of the specific parts used, cam specs and what the whole thing cost, if that would help. let me know and I'll get them to you. this car is a blast to drive, very strong, turns a lot of heads, I get compliments everywhere I go! I am very glad I did the upgrades
