  • philippines: food paradise!!!

  • to my fellow filipino people and Mr.bazzamataz72 what I can say is this you guys are partly right and partly wrong. And Mr. bazzamataz72 you are right, there is no argument there, the way you reply you're a true gentlemen.

  • That food is so masarap!!!!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT. was this at SM fairview? damn i miss this place.

  • phillipines dont have a food culture of thier own its just a mish mash of mexican japanese korean and spanish and american. mostly american they deep fry everything i cant stand the food over there

  • @bazzamataz72 i beg to disagree. if you've been to the many provinces of my country you will discover that yes we do not have one food culture but a lot of.. regional delicacies with no outside influences. true, most of our food have those influences you mentioned, you forgot to include chinese, which has a huge influence. and we don't deepfry everything. i wish you have discovered deeper into the filipino food culture so next time you know better. cheers.

  • @malignantquiapo I spent 6 months in your country and travelled the south and north islands i ate mostly from the street side stalls in small towns like derega and dau and sometimes i ate at the malls. the food culutre mainly stems from America as they were a protecitve nation for the phillipines in the war and thats where a good part of the phillipino culture stems from. My argument is that you dont have food culture spefic to your people. Deep fried is flavor of the day

  • @bazzamataz72

just because you been to a country for 6 months that doesnt make you an expect.

sinigang, kare-kare, pinakbet and i can name more...

chinese has the most influenced in the philippines then spanish...then the americans!

NO japanese or korean! just cuz you saw some japanese or korean restaurant thats not mean they influenced our food!

  • @MrExkid101 I am a Traveller not a tourist and you dont have food you barly have a cultural identity

  • Comment removed

  • @bazzamataz72 look whos talking...youre a fuckin Aussie with no culture what so ever.

philippines is way older than Australia!!! youre not even the NATIVES of Australia!!! bunch of white from europe!!! you dont even belong to this side of the world! east!!!

  • @MrExkid101 no argument there , dont take what im saying personaly its an edcuated opinion thats all, just like yours.

  • @malignantquiapo you do have chinese influence but so does Australia and America to a very large degree. they are the oldest nation on earth. This is not a defemation against your country its just an educated opinon, and i will say that most travellers i met had the same opinion about the food. i have to say the best korean food i ever had was in manila. but places like boracay, palawan, sabang beach. not good.

  • @bazzamataz72 white guys are NOT the natives of australia!!! maybe your fuckin school forgot to mentioned that! you dont even belong to that country to start with! heck you dont even belong to this side of the world!!!

and besides Aussies would be the last people in the earth to insult someones culture!!

    WHITE AUSTRALIA=NO CULTURE!!! HOW PATHETIC!!!

  • $4 dollars for a Porterhouse Sizzling Steak plate with trimmings. hehehehehe House of Minis is the place. The steak is kinda thin though. I tried it before but it comes with asparagus soup, rice, small side of veggies and mushroom sauce on your rice and steak. It's a good deal for $4.00 dollars for you. Get two of those if you're really hungry. A porterhouse steak at Ruth Chris Steak house if $50 dollars. Think of it.

  • Awesome ...Im getting hungry now!

  • Best food in the world

  • $4 for a sizzling plate?! Hell yeah. Man I should visit PI one of these days. It's been long overdue.

  • NAGUTUM AKO AH

  • kumulo ang tyan ko

  • Can they sell all these foods in one day? What do they do if they can't? Filipinos are food lovers. The foods look yum-o!

  • @Lodi93 That is why I don't eat there. They cook so much food in advance that I'm afraid that I might be eating something prepared the day before.

  • @crimdell They cook the steak in front of you dude. You order it and place the meat on the grill after you order it. You see it for yourself. I plan to open up a fast food restaurant later on in one of those busy malls. It's always busy and people do eat out more often than cook at home because it's so cheap. Especially the tourists and balikbayans.

  • @MrHardrod2 If you say so, dude. I'll still pass. I'm convinced I got food poisoning from a food court stand. I was sick for 4 days. Of course I can't prove that was where I got it but I'm convinced adequately that I'll just eat elsewhere. Good luck with your restaurant and please have a policy that your employees must wash their hands with soap every time they go into the CR. I can't tell you how many times I have seen food workers go in to do their business and then leave without washing.

  • @crimdell It could be a number of things that made you sick. Not exactly the food but maybe the utensils you used were not cleaned. The glass and water you drank might not be clean. I don't drink water they have there in plastic glasses . That's tap water which they put into a pitcher and added ice. I buy bottled water all the time that is why I never get sick. Im sure you got sick from either the water or the dirty utensils. I usually wash the utensils in hot water first and wipe it clean.

  • @MrHardrod2 You're right that it could have been many things. It definitely was not the water. That was my very first time in the Philippines and I wouldn't even use the ice, much less drink anything other than bottled water. Now that I've lived in Cebu for 2 years I still don't drink anything but bottled water (but I'm not very fussy about ice now).

  • e2 ung mga pagkain na pangat....pangat means pangatlong init minsan pang apat na init....hahahha...which is true nman...la lng...
