I agree this is not her best work. I have heard some of her other songs. I like her song "Jaded". It's very catchy almost like a Maroon 5 style song. I think once she gets a real producer in the studio with her, they will fine tune the "rough spots" where she may tend to sound a bit squeeky. Shes better than Brittany any day AND she writes and plays.

Alexa's best talent is her piano playing but even that is not great. Her songwriting is basic at best. The song structure has no depth at all and it's all been done before. Her voice is average and quite annoying when she goes for high notes, which she does too often. She's trying too hard and comes across as forced & her stage presence is weak. If she didn't have the last name, there's no way she'd be where she is.

That gives her already a style, which although, not being original, makes her superior than the already mentioned "silly ones"...For me is a good start for the girl. She' is still young. I give her four years more and she could reach the level of Norah Jones or Tori Amos...let's see.
