Buddy Whittington plays the guitar. Otis Rush is just singing. Although Buddy is great, they ought to have split the guitar solos. Anyway, great cover!!!
First of all what kind of mysoginistic name is that. I doubt you know what that word means. I'm so sick of cowards hiding behind the internet to leave their racist comments. Just enjoy the fucking music and keep the ugly comments to yourself.
NOBODY can play Otis Rush like Otis Rush! When Otis was "on" performing live it was like seeing God playing the Blues. I'm sorry but except for Luther Allison, Carl Weathersby and a few other REAL Blues musicians it all sounds like a retread.
one of the MANY great tracks on Mayall's Along for the ride album...alot of history went into the making of that album...Whittington's on his game in this one and the vocals are great on both Mayall's and Rush's parts
Loved this song from the the first time i heard it, i really don't get on with Buddy Whittingtons guitar on this though.....i don't feel enough soul in him ( too mechanical for me ), if only Otis was on the lead like he should be!!
@sam19851 Buddy W. HAS the soul. He is something in between PG and EC. A more soulful GM. Don't get me wrong about Moore, he's one of the greatest. And, yes, Otis. No comparison. Dan
Excelent!!

@bobbybluz1 What do you expect from inbred white British peckerwoods? Those limey bastards couldn't carry Otis Rush's guitar.

You know that what they are doing to those guitars is cruel and unmerciful.
Have Mercy Buddy, your hurtin' that guitar. Hear it wail in pain.
