the drums are triggered so he's actually playing them but the noises are electronic. the singer used to be a gabba dj.

Guys, the drums are not fake, the drummer uses "Triggers", little things you click onto your bass/snare/etc-drums and it sends the shockwaves of a beat to a computer which then turns it into a sound of your choosing, in this case an electronic-techno beat.

Aside from this, the drummer also uses a tripple pedal instead of a double pedal, at least I heard that somewhere, but in fact it makes sense.

look at the energy they put into their shows here, like dont get me wrong the new berzerker is still good, but live, when they had the masks, i feel they really got into their character and just went all out, plus, sam bean was able to handle the deep growls, luke cant, and there are many songs where the 2 vocalists alternate in singing and now luke has to handle both himself, they really should get sam back or at least have someone else in the band do the lows
