whenever i run fraps it recordds full screen, i know its supposed to do that. but i want to crop it so that it only shows the character and a little bit of the surroundings for rsmvs. but when i do that, it lessens the quality in sony vegas 9. is there a different way of doing this?

They keep updating the game and making it laggier. Try to lower runescapes grapichs settings or close some probgrams that you don't need to be on. Or just get a better computer, Im gonna get a better one soon.

its not my pc, i used to record with fraps even after this HD update, got pc format due few problems and now it laggs like shit. My pc is fine nothing is open :(

No lag? On 1024x768 res fps is ~13 while recording, on 1680x1050 about 6-7. I guess it's time to upgrade my computer. =D

More like Camtasia, take a look at my videos. If you have a powerful computer, camtasia is perfect. Set your screen recordings to max fps and the recordings turn out great. AVI rendering takes no time, get it on vegas and make it HD.

Your videos are sameish quality, the quality doesn't look so good on mine, bechause Im on fullscreen. And I used half quality (not so big file size) and recorded sound (more lagg)

And fraps works on laggy computers, my processor is only 1.3 ghz and only a bit lagg.
