We load up our schedule with a bunch of easy teams; when we lose we make up a bunch of Irish excuses; if we should happen to prevail over a weaker opponent, we act like we won the Super Bowl; we boast about stuff that happened a hundred years ago; we haven't won a national title or brought home a Heisman since long before you were born; we drink too much; and our priests are sitting in jail because they're homosexual pedophiles. We are ND!

And here are some Tradional Irish Excuses: "someone cheated, we were robbed, the refs. screwed up, we lost a lot of seniors, we're rebuilding, Ty Willingham didn't recruit, Charlie is still new, we have academic standards, we prefer to play at home, we prefer to play the service academies, we are victims of the people who don't like us (haters), we were upset because our parish priest just got arrested for the criminal sexual abuse of children, etc."
