  • We actually raise the foggles at minimums. And yes i found a job... I came back to my home country, Brazil. First i flew seneca II, for about 6 months. Afterwards I flew the cessna caravan and the EMB 121. And now i have been flying the B737 - 300 for 8 months now. I am loving it.

  • @jaborandyguga Parabens !!! Estou voando IFR aqui na Florida tbm!!! Sucesso ae Brasuca

  • OMG three bars in his shoulders...And he still needs to refer to a c172 check list....Kinda sad

  • @mgiannelis you are kidding .... right.....

  • @mgiannelis it doesn't matter how many bars on the shoulder you should always refer to a checklist.

  • Nice flying man! I'm starting my instrument next week. It's been a full year since I got my private so I'm nervous and excited all over again. At what point did your instructor tell you it was okay to raise the foggles? Have you found a job yet?

  • The thing I noticed was he wasn't developing full power at take off (only 22 rpm) because his engine wasn't correctly leaned.

  • must have an arab for a friend if you dont worry about gas prices

  • Why are people arguing about cars on a video about flying?

  • very good

  • very good

  • After about 40 hrs. of pt. 161 IFR, I received my rating. My wife that evening, at my celebratory dinner, said "I think I could keep it level w/o any outside ref". She was dead SERIOUS. So what do you think I did the next day? I took her up in a very basic IFR equipped 172 - in 500 and 1/4. "Your airplane" I said. 5-10 seconds later, she owed me a night at the movies. Yeah - she was humbled

  • Why do people insist on putting music on what would be an informative vidoe

  • Being a pilot isnt hard. The plane flies itself while atc controls where it goes. Realistically in todays airliners we dont even need pilots. And a monkey can fly any general aviation aircraft. So i wouldnt be so keen on telling

    People i was a pilot

  • Something I've thought about; no need for a pilot in airliners. But it really can't be true. The most important thing that a pilot learns by the time they are comfortable calling themself a pilot is Judgment. Not just anyone can fly.

  • @OI8APC2 with a comment like that your probably a flight sim geek who could never get the money to take a real flight lesson and forced to make ignorant comments like that

  • @xXGETR0CKEDxX I'll have my PPL in 2 months. And yes, I am a flight sim geek. I'm also a funeral director, with a wife who is a doctor, drive a new BMW, wife drives a Hummer, and will be buying a new Bonanza as soon as I get my PPL. I have more money in my cup holder in my car than you have in the bank. Loser.

  • @OI8APC2 Im with xXGETR0CKEDxX !! We have both decided that you are a looser and have no place in Aviation..

  • @cessnaclub What? You two eat out each others asses? Place your balls on his chin do you? Are you the catcher or the pitcher? Quarterback or receiver? Most likely the catcher. You look like you enjoy dicks up your ass. Faggot.

  • @OI8APC2 I think it would be fair to say to you... REDNECK LOL

  • @cessnaclub Absolutely and proud of it. This 6'1", 215 LB redneck would whoop the shit out of you boy. I chew tobacco, drink Budweiser, smoke marlboro reds, listen to heavy metal, love NASCAR, guns, whiskey, hunting, and big trucks. Are you trying to insult me by calling me a redneck? Because I don't take it that way. That is what I am. Better a redneck then some left wing liberal tree hugging, nigger loving hippy.

  • @OI8APC2 WOW You really are a fat ass!!!! I personally weigh 85kg and keep fit every day and dont do any drugs or binge drink etc etc in other words my life is more meaningfull and will last longer than yours. People like you do not last very long and generally end up beign nobodys there whole life........ I cant imaginu that you are anyoneimportant anyways. Good luck with your cheap life and dont bother replying.

  • @cessnaclub Good, I don't want to live until I'm 90. 60 seems a good age to move on. While I'm here, I'll have more fun than you, get laid more than you, make more money than you and see more things than you. And I have almost zero body fat. I work out, run, and keep in shape. But I do also like to party. All muscle here little man. I shit bigger than you.

  • @OI8APC2 Dumbass I can see your fucking dirty reflection in the cheap shitbox car you bought!!! Stop bullshitting and get a life. And if you are so cashed up why do you buy the cheapest car and a base model at that?? Is it because you have to get credit for something like that?? I prefer my S6 but i guess im not you.. Geeez what an ass..

  • @cessnaclub Thanks for watching my videos!! I must intrigue you enough for you to waste 9 minutes of your life watching my videos.

  • @OI8APC2 Cant imagine you get much pussy with a dirty face like that and a cheap Huynday or whatever it is.LOL

  • @OI8APC2 I have to admit I wasted a whole 15 secs of my life when i accidentally clicked on your name to reply!!! I regret it to this day.

  • @cessnaclub Must be nice for mommy and daddy to pay for your flight training and vehicle. I'm self made. I paid for school on my own, am going back to get my masters, and am paying for my car on my own. Born with a silver spoon in your mouth. I bet your moms pussy smells great!!

  • @OI8APC2 Dude trust me when I say that you have had no education. HAHAHA Stop taking shit !!!! Everyone here knows from your mail what type of person you are.And stop mailing me please

  • @cessnaclub And the TC looks much nicer than that ugly ass Audi. Which I doubt you drive. Unless as I said, mommy and daddy either let you borrow theirs or bought one for you.

  • @OI8APC2 Yeah sure man even you are not that dumb to think that you shitbox is a better quality car than an Audi. PS You are a self made tooll who lives in no other but the poorest town in United states which is going to be a fucking third world country very soon because of poorass uneducated decisions that Americans make.

  • @cessnaclub Maybe not quality wise, meaning interior and what not. But Audi has just been rated as the worst car manufacturer out there for reliability and customer service while Toyota and Scion are rated first. Eat a dick. Hope you enjoy dumping countless dollars into your piece of shit. By the way, what is a "tooll"?

  • @OI8APC2 Your're calling a 60-300 thousand dollar cessna a piece of shit? Lets see your plane, and the only reason why his mom actually bought him his flight training is because he is probably a smart educated and nice person not like you. You probably grew up in the poor ass town not him. And if your parents hate you so much that you pay for your own car and you paid for your own flight lessons, then you sir are a no good person who deserves not to live on this planet

  • @tinyman12323 Yeah dont worry about this guy I think he has lost the plot...He recons hes gonna buy a plane but cant afford more than a Camry or whatever he bough.

  • @cessnaclub So because I drive a $23,000 car, I can't have an airplane? Its a brand new Scion TC. I could have bought whatever I wanted but I think the new Scion looks better than any other new car out there right now. Plus, it saves a lot of money on gas.

  • @OI8APC2 I dont worry about the price of gas!!!

  • @OI8APC2 Dumbass if your worrying about the price of gas GET A PRIUS OR A HYBRID. Plus Scions are the ugliest fucking car next to the Cube

  • @tinyman12323 HAHAHA Good call...

  • @OI8APC2 Yeah well its only 4 months old so I guess Ill cross my fingers and hope nothing happens because it sounds like you know. Probably because you have owned a Audi before..Right??

  • @cessnaclub No, I read. Might want to do the same next time you buy a car. Look it up yourself. Audi is the worst rated car in the market. Good luck though.

  • @OI8APC2 Jealousy is a curse

  • @OI8APC2 and you probably been working on that PPL for the last 24 months you clown you dont even hold a PPL license so why the fuck are you commenting on an IFR Video your not a pilot...... your a sim geek... and your gunna buy a bonanza right..... thats why in your profile it says all you want is a 172 lmao jackass... People who boast about how they have this and how they have that really usually dont have shit get off your home built 737NG sim and get a life clown

  • @xXGETR0CKEDxX Hey mate dont bother with this guy,I have checked him out he is just some tool jacking off on the internet with no job from Michigan (go figure LOL) Dreamers like this guy are a dime a dozen on here....

  • @OI8APC2 Well I guess you will never know becuase becoming a pilot cost money and thats something you lack of...Which is good because I would never want to be in the air at the same time as someone like you anyways!!!

  • @cessnaclub I make more money in a week than I'm sure you can make in a month. I'm in the process of getting my ppl as we speak. I'm also buying a Bonanza as soon as I find one for the right price. What are you in? A cessna? What? 150? LOL!!! My kid flies those. 172? I'll get one of those for my wife.

  • @OI8APC2 I fly a Cessna CJ1 for living!!! I own a immaculate C310!!! You are from Detroit like it says on your profile and you deal with second hand guns!! My guess is you are broke...firstly because you live in the USA and secondly you live in the freaking poorest City in the US. We call people like you redneck no hopers.. But keep dreaming LOL

  • @cessnaclub I fucked your mother in the ass and she had you. How do like that? I shit on your sisters belly and forced you to lick it up which you liked. And the USA is the richest, most powerful nation on the planet. We're invading every nation to make sure they do exactly what we want them to do. And guess what? They will or we will decimate their entire society. Raping their women, killing their children. That's what we're all about here in America. You couldn't hang here. Pussy.

  • @OI8APC2 PS Trust me I make alot more than your welfare!!! HAHAH

  • @OI8APC2 If you know anything about weight and balance then you know for sure that your wifes fat ass isnt going to be safe in a 172!!!

  • Nice Video :D

  • Nicely done!

  • is it ok just to use a g1000 when flying vfr/ifr for navigation and to stay away from airspace or should u carry a map and let that be the primary? also will the instructor be giving him the headings/altitudes to fly since hes actually got an vfr clearance

  • what??? you can be the best pilot in the whole world, you still ve got to wear a uniform when you wotk, gosh

  • Or Better Yet ! Just Go to your local Cliff and Jump Off ! Then Spread Your Wings

  • Yes thats a non-g1000 Cessna skyhawk 172S - from 2001. Also if you want to be a ATP pilot there are some requirements that you are training in uniform. I dont know when or why though :)

  • @dkravan There may be a uniform requirement at a particular flight school, I'm not aware of any regulation requiring uniforms...

  • @xevnoc I dont know exactly what was behind it, but my brother got his JAA license in Florida and all the guys training for ATP had to wear uniforms every day. Maybe its a JAA thing? Could be a flightschool thing too I suppose, but they seemed pretty relaxed overall.

  • They're training professionals, and expect them to dress as such. You're not going to fly commercially in jeans, are you?

  • why does wearing a uniform make you a better pilot? I could be wearing jeans and still fly rings around most people.

  • It's for the passengers. It's for the perception. If a passenger saw a punk in loose jeans and a hoodie flying a plane, how would that affect the opinion of the riders? They wouldn't associate him with a great pilot because he doesn't present himself as one that cares. I for one "LOOK, FEEL, ACT professional", even though my skills don't change.

  • BTW - "fly rings around most people" is a really poor attitude to take about it. Overconfident, unprofessional, cocky. Being able to fly your aircraft well does NOT make you a SMART pilot. (and no, you DON"T have to wear a uniform to be one)

  • @tasev1 Hey man chill out, you should stop flying and get into psychiatry or something and help pilots with "cocky" "unprofessional" attitudes!! lolol I am not over confidant I am just confidant, nothing wrong with that.

  • Nothing wrong at all. I'm sure you are a very good pilot, as am I. But like my point with the uniform was, your choice of wording (and mine too) can be perceived one way regardless of what is really meant / intended. You can be the best pilot in the world, but if someone sees you in a different light then it doesn't really matter.

That's why uniforms can be so BENEFICIAL. They mean & they represent something. Now for us weekend pilots, are we going to go out and wear uniforms? No.

  • @tasev1 most youn pilots like to weare uniforms so they stand out and hopefully somone will ask them if they are a real pilot LOL. Ipersonally like to hide the fact that im i pilot because I dont like being asked questions or being stared at.

  • To be professional, you should wear a uniform. That said, I like to be comfortable when training, and you generally don't have passengers who see you in cargo pants and a hoody when training.

  • @tasev1 when I was flying in the bush I would wear boats, shorts and my normal shirt with my bars.

  • Rocking the epaulets.

  • uhm he requested 2000,,, isnt 2500 for vfr,, im sure it is

  • Under 3000ft is any altitude applicable to VFR.

  • add 500' to altitides for VFR CRUISING when ABOVE 3000 AGL. Below 3000 AGL any altitude goes (safety and airspace permitting)

  • Attend a school with an accreditted aerospace program.

  • you dont get music in the cockpit on a IFR guys

  • I want to be a pilot. What do I have to do to ger into a university that can teach me that. What do I have to get in my average in school for the university to accept me. Please help

  • you don't have to go to a university OR a college to learn how to fly. Go to the nearest airport and look for FBO flight schools in your area. You can get your license in months.

  • my guess is c172, got 4 seats, has the omnivision iof a cessna, but the next thing up is a 182 with isnt fixed pitch like this one, amirite?

  • Skymaster841. You are a fucking idiot plain and simple. Stop pretending to know it all, when in reality you hardly know shit. Now go change your tampon already.

  • can someone please til me what qualifications i need to be a pilot. i would be very greatfull for this help. thank you.

  • Its depends what kind of pilot you want be ,if private then you would fly cessna's like this guy. if you wanted to fly at an airline then you would need to get PPL ,CPL & Instrument rating, Multi engine rating an some hours.

It all depend of what kind of pilot you want to be.

  • cherrs mate, but what kind of subjets u need to be more in2 in???? E.g maths, lauages .....

  • there are no formal school qualifications that u need for a ppl or nppl. u just need to be motivated and be in good health. being good at maths and having a good memory helps a lot because u will find urself in situations where u need to remember a lot of numbers while doing other tasks. if u have the money go do it man

  • ohh cherrs matey. helped alot!!!!

  • oh and for languages u just need to be able to speak english because thats the universal aviation language :-)

  • oh cheers

  • i'm not sure ,but i think math ,physics and english are the most important subjects.

  • Wearing a uniform in aviation no matter what you are flying is a great sign of professionalism. I currently fly at an aviation college and we are required to wear our uniforms when we fly. We all like to carry ourselves as professionals and that is just a small part of it. The way that you act my friend, you are no professional

  • That's because he flies for a virtual airline!

  • Skymaster, for as high up in the aviation world and as professional as you talk yourself up to be, you sure don't act like a professional

  • you might wanna lean the mixture on cruise Mr. PIC

  • you guys are just ilarious when you walk in all dressed up with epaulets tie and raybans and not even the ppl in the hand. we really laugh hard...

be seriuos dude when youll get a job youll have plenty of time to wear it and show that u care for what you do

  • I live in australia, I know heat very well...

I spose you just have a different mindset to me but becuase you have your opinion don't just shut down others for doing what they want to do.

  • yes it is even for a cfi, but that is just my opinion

  • if flight sim really counted, i would have soloed my first flight and would have about 15,000 hours and an ATP instead of 150 hours and Private w/Instrument rating. Oh and a lot of multi time, lots of actual IFR, lots of turbine time, and a dozen type ratings. Flight sim can be used as a training device, i'll agree with that, but it will never count as real world experience, even in a Level D sim.

  • @tangoyankee28 FUCKEN KNOB!!!

  • oh and im only 13

  • Really...because your profile says you are 28. Age has nothing to do with flying, young or old. Sounds like you're just full of yourself, no matter how old you are.

  • my age is 28 because they wont let like anyone under like 18 have one or something like that and i am only 13 so dont be dissing on flight sim because yes it really does count

  • i did my first lesson and i flew the whole thing didnt need any help, all of this from flight sim, so flight sim does count

  • i really enjoyed this clip thank you ~

i also become wanna be pilot like you ~~

  • what gauges or instruments were covered up at 5:30

  • Comment removed

  • thanks you

  • The covered gauges are his attitude and heading indicators. Common trick used by most CFI's on their students (students rely heavily on these two instruments)

  • may i know the title of the song??

  • great stuff, but you floated forever lol

  • haha squack?

    its squawk lol

  • guys when conducting an IFR training, is it a must to have a GPS fitted onboard?

    thxx

  • Nope

  • Hey cool but you forgot the fuel gauge thats a requirement!! one of the needle seems not to be working. But Great vid

  • Belo vídeo Comandante! ;)

  • Sweet landing...

  • Who is the song by?

  • pearl jam

  • Good job mate, I have learnt that for every NM you are out from the rwy turn 1 degree for every NM, works great for ILS.

Nice job, great hold off before touch down, good handling skills.

Did notice that you were at 2700 at one stage, is that the alt for that App.?

Well done hope it all goes well for you..

    Steve

    Flight Instructor

    737 Simulators.

  • what does IFR stand for? And can you tell me what i need to do become an airline pilot.Could i go through the military or do a PPL and then do a conversion course.

  • IFR means Instrumental Flight Rules.

as opposed to VFR (Visual Flight Rules) which rely on your compass and visual aids on the ground, IFR flights are based on radio guidance along your flight path using a VOR transmitter on the ground, thus letting you to fly when vision is poor or at night.

Also, all international flights are IFR.

  • I dunno if its the same where you are, but here in Australia we have NVFR (Night VFR), meaning you don't need an IRF Rating to fly at night.

  • Phoenix East Aviation is a good flight school and there proffesional, bit they do not offer a degree bcoz PEA is a flight school not a college but there program can earn you credits towards the degree

  • i have those glasses...is the flight school good..can you get a degree>?

  • Nice flying, Luis.

  • hey there follow aviation, wats the name of this song itur video

  • Nice trick (getting down the runway in the air verses a long taxi) keep up the good work! I can't wait to start my IFR lessons.

  • Professionally done

  • Meu filho,

    Você é demais.... como sempre!

Um beijo do seu orgulhoso pai.

  • drop by my channel sometime people.

You mess with the ramster....u get a free hamster!

    --thanks--

  • Don't make fun of me because I'm trying to lear everything that there is to know about flying but, what's the "Squack code" for?

  • Learn* sorry about that.

  • This is the code you can be identified from ground control.

  • Oh.Ok. Thank you.

  • Obviously you are not a pilot. Flight sim doesnt count either.

  • closest thing you can get to flying is flight sim

  • a code you put into the transponder that identifies you to air traffic control, there are different numbers for different situations, they usually tell you what to squawk.

  • How much did it cost to get that kind of training?

  • Exelet aproch only with ILS AND VOR

  • I agree with dc8heavy. You did a ggod job but you guys who are learning need to stop pretending to be Captains. his isn't playtime. You have to earn it. Anyone can buy the shirt and as a private pilot pretend to be the real thing. Do it the honest way - it will mean more.

  • Actually, you might be right.Anybody can go and buy it this uniforme. But let me tell you something why dont you go and buy one for your self and see how good you feel like.Me as a CFII instructor now always have to try to reinforce the positive and motivation to my students, and this kind of enviroment and not only motivate the new students but also prepare them for the enviroment that they are going to find in the future. Thanks for your comment.

    Sincerely,

    Luiz Augusto Henriques Jaborandy

    CFII

  • Well done i think your did a great job. hope the best for u in the future.

  • Bet the chicks dig it too ;)

  • What kind of chicks dig a guy wearing epplets in a 172? That's hilarious! Maybe if there's a C-5 on the ramp you could point it out to her and then say "See that, it's a C-5, I fly a C-172." Then maybe she'll be impressed. Seriously though, what a joke.

  • nice 1

  • Im sure he wears epplets to make chicks dig him, It wouldn't be for any other reason, like perhaps its his uniform...

When I fly, I wear my uniform which has epplets. Pilots are professional people, I don't want to be seen by someone wearing a t-shirt and thongs flying, its lame. I want to be seen as a professional who cares about what I'm doing.

And nice one using an old joke and making it sound like you invented it, classy. I wonder if chicks dig you.

  • wearing the uniform in the cessna is ridicolous

  • You're rediculous, who cares what other people do.

Wearing a uniform shows you care for what you do.

  • i used to wear it too for school requirements and me like almost all the other students hated it, my training was was done in florida do you know what it means to wear the uniform with that heat?after i got my first job as a professional pilot it was def much more rewarding wearing the uniform its nonsense dressing up in thecessna since you are not a professional pilot yet you should just enjoy the training have fun and flying in shorts,Its notjust me, all my collegues and the professionalpilots

  • let me point out how ignorant and stupid you sound sir, and you are just another person on youtube pretending to be a pilot and act like you know what you are talking about. The aircraft that you are at the controls at doesn't define whether your a "professional" pilot you clown... It's the raitings you hold... If these guys are CFI's then they hold their COMMERCIAL certificate which makes them professional pilots whether they are fyling a cessna 172 or a citation mustang....

  • You are an idiot, tell me you are joking...

there s a difference between commercial pilot(the rating)and professional pilot.you have to get payd in order to be called a professional(cfis can be considered porfessional infact but brand new unemployed cpl pilot with 250 no, ive been flying since i was 16, im flying a c550 and i have a dc9 tr in my licence at 25,you ve just started the flight school you are theone who doenst know what his talikng about but that pretends knows it all

  • ok so what does the commercial certificate allow a pilot to do? last time I checked it allows a pilot to get PAID for their services.... and according to your dumbass a "professional pilot" is someone who gets paid.... SO hmm lets see a commercial pilot gets paid to fly a passenger(s) to point A to B now according 2 you that makes that pilot a "professional because they are getting paid... So let me see you dispute that one..... clown lol

  • what a fucking idiot, can really tell if is talking seriously...

    lol

  • By the way I just havn't started anything I have been flying since i was 17 now 21 I hold a commercial certificate with multi and instrument ratings... your way to easy its so obvious you have no idea what you are talking about lol

  • "by the way i havent just started anything i have been flying since i was 17 now 21 i hold a commercial pilot" bla bla bla. youre so ridicolous same shit youar a newbie inaviation (im not chuck yeager but i have certainly more exp thanyou and at least i know what im talikng about,u have no clue) u should shut ur mouth and be modest, but no he knows it allnow that he has a cpl and 250h, idiot. kid you are obv too stupid to understand was i was trying to explain anyways im not going towaste mytime

  • just got out of school and you know it all, stupid ass with such behaviour you are not gonna anywhere but i kind understand why, it seems u you are training at delta connection ahahhahah, they prepare this kids just to be arrogants and they come out with a vey poor aviation knowledge, kid jim occonor stole all your money ahhahhhh

  • im arrogant and I have poor aviation knowledge??? then tell me why is it you who made such comment saying it is joke for these guys in the video flying to wear uniforms because in your eyes because they are not flying a jet or in the airlines they are not worthy to wear the unifrom ..... Thats the only reason why I posted something in the first place because that comment was so ignorant, and you call me stupid but your english and grammer is horrible by the way lol

  • @flattrackmile most chicks are impressed to just get on a private plane and fly. Unless you are passengering women pilots, most girls don't even know/care what ratings you have, what you fly. so i disagree with you.

  • @flattrackmile I've met many girls who would be more than happy to ride in a 172. Hell, some even prefer to ride in the 172.

  • Nice video.. but the applets you are wearing must be earned .. you not there yet.. take them off.

  • cool nice landing..awesome!

  • I like your video, but I would hate to have to wear that uniform!

  • wow, solid landing man

  • Grande piloto.... Continue assim!!!

    Abraços

    Neto

  • i cant belive in your landing

it was the best i ever seen

    :)

    congrats

  • Excelent video...

Name of the second song. pleace

  • Cool video! That was a really nice landing, when i was watching i was expecting that thump and the camera moving a bit... and i didn't even notice that you touched down until you were braking, wow, once again, what a nice smooth landing... *pat on the back

  • Lets hope the cost of flying training will drop rapidly over the next 10 years. Single engine aircrafts are so overpriced for used models. To be fair a cessna 172 is so small and only weighs a ton

  • highly unlikely the way fuel prices are going.

  • The reason aircraft are so expensive is because of insurance and liability purposes, even if it is a 172. The reason they are so expensive to fly is because of scheduled (and surprise) maintenance. Fuel is actually the cheaper part of flying when it comes to single engine piston planes, but they like to make fuel the excuse for higher rates. Unless you are flying turbine or jet aircraft, then its a legit excuse.
