I remember my first hitting drill when I was fourteen and I was going up against a shorter but heavier kid, I didn't get low enough and he just laid me out, my pads and helmet were vibrating. Just gotta get low, I was 5foot 7in weighed 180 pounds while the other kid was 5foot 4in weighed 180, he was also the leagues best tackler.

@mrOwnagenewb1 It's a hittign drill. Usually in football practice at the beginning of hell week (two adays) which normally last two weeks. The first week is pretty much pure conditioning (HELL ON EARTH) and when you finally get your pads, you still not gonna see the ball, you have hitting drills. Teach you how to get low, keep your feet moving, how not to dip your head down while making a tacke, etc...
