I can remember ,clearly seeing Jimi do Hey Joe on RSG and also remember a certain deceased presenter making negative comments on the song and the band.How wrong he was on both counts.I was playing in a band at that time and for me the book was rewriten that night.RIP Jimi

Heard about this performance from the notes of an old readers digest 60s album which my mum & dad had in the 70s, though considering it must have been a seminal moment which I would have thought must have survived in some form, even photographic, I believed the readers digest must have got their facts wrong.
