@TheRammsteizer: I got a Legendary Excalibur on my second Reforge. People can just get genuinely lucky. That said, I usually prefer Gungnir, even if it does less damage per hit it kills most things more easily (it tends to be very situational).

I think you cheated, you can't have a melee weapon with the prefix "unreal", the unreal prefix is only for ranged weapons like the megashark. also, you said it does 63 dmg per hit but the new one you crafted at 0:38 says it does 54 dmg.

@FinalStar123: Build a stone platform in the sky, about 90(?) blocks up, and fourty-ish blocks wide with a tiny hole in the middle. Fight the destroyer by firing your weapon non-stop down that hole for the span of the night, you'll take no damage except perhaps from the odd eyeball or harpy.

@OdyssesyGamez at 0:45-1:01 (the easiest way of seeing it) you have the hallowed armor set which means holy armor set and Excalibur which is said to be a divine holy sword so having holy armor and sword why are you using DEMON wings? (i think the demon wings are more badass but still)

Many people have that problem I think, especially solo playing.

I tried with minishark, grenades(for the hungrys) , phenix blaster, molten armour, some magic weapons(magic missile, waterbold etc.), some buff potions, about 1000 silver bullets and I failed many times.

Star cannon,

keep your Minishark,

and lots of buffs like: Iron Skin, Water Walking, Shine

It also helps if you have a Hell Bridge.

@crazylego8 I killed him solo. It can be done with Mithril Armor. Fight him with melee not ranged as his lasers do much more damage than his contact damage.

every new thing in 1.1 can only be obtained in hard mode, which you activate by killing the wall of flesh.

you grant your world with mithrill, adamantine, and cobalt by destroying demon alters with the hammer you get from killing the wall of flesh. you need to nestroy 3 alters to get all the materials

@18toes the ores come after you've killed the wall of flesh and use the pwmhammer (the wall drops it on death) to smash some demon alters. Just smash 3 and you'll get all the ores. WARNING the game gets a lot harder once you kill the wall.
