This game SORT OF (and I use that term loosely) reminds me slightly of Monster Hunter. I, and I'm sure others, have always wondered what Monster Hunter would look like with actual abilities and even more in-depth combat than what it already had. This looks like a game I'm definitely going to try seeing as I love Lineage II and, like I said, Monster Hunter.
I'm definitely going to be getting an account for Tera. I have been warn out from L2 and need a new type of gameplay. I have played Vindictus and do like it, but the point that it's going to be like Vindictus with freerange lvl up and pvp is awesome. 3 thumbs up!
Rift is boring (any point mouse button click attack spam skills is) its just sci-fi WoW... seriusly not a WoW clone entirely :3 Tera on the other hand uses the mouse kind of like vindictus much more enjoyment specialy archer its like 3rd person fps haha.

@eden28s depends on your preference. If you want a classic MMORPG style like WoW, then go Rift. If you want a more action RPG like Divine Souls or Vindictus, then Tera is the way to go. I played the Rift beta and it was pretty boring. I'm definitely looking forward to Tera because since it is a monthly payment type game and just from the vids posted, the quality is going to be 1000x better than Divine Souls or Vindictus. So....yeah. Hope this helps.
I only have 1 complaint, in PvP being "knocked down" that much and that often without immunities or diminishing returns seems like it'll make the game horribly unbalanced.

@zottepedj Did I say I had explored everything ? Stop putting words in my mouth. I quit 1 month after release because PvP became awfully unbalanced because of the gold buyers. People running 20-30% faster than others and hitting twice as hard.. very fun indeed. Up until that point I enjoyed it, so don't assume you know what I did and did not do in the game. I don't know if they ever did anything about the gold farmers but after release there were more golf farmers than players.
@limbride at least try to play a game for a few months, or a year and see how you'll become, you said you played 1 month, if you're going to play 1 month of every game that will be released ofcourse you'll get killed in pvp, if you would play further on aion and get better gear you'll beat those gold buyers without any problems, because people that buy that gear with gold it gives bonus for full part, and if you collect piece by piece of your own gear you will be better..
@zottepedj You misunderstand. I never said I got killed in PvP. I killed every class without a problem and had a lot of fun doing it. Went to the enemy territory through portals and killed 20 people at least by myself. I loved it.
What I didn't love was the overgeared goldbuyers. When a party of those guys came along the enemies just left and there was no more action for any of us that day.. Or any day.
Stop assuming I didn't know the game. i studied the gear and game mechanics very closely.

1-2 second cast heal that heals aoe for about 20-30 times a regular hit... Oo... OP? Anyway... this game looks bad ass, just wish people would stop uploading the dam videos in fuckin' 360p, my 40 lbs, 30cent cam corder from the '20s can record higher quality than this -.-

@whatswithyous In fact, wow's graphics are bad. They've never been good either. Back in 2004 and 2005 it was even worse. And you know what? Blizzard aint trying to make the graphic like Crysis or anything like that, because they want an unique graphic.

@zottepedj Like being totally owned by someone that bought 1.000.000.000.000 goldz and 1hit you with his magic lazerlance of instagibb ? I played Aion and PvP was hella fun imo. I had a gladiator up to level 36 and he pwned, but then after a couple of weeks the goldfarmers had done theirs and people bought their way to all the mats needed to make incredible gear and it just got ridiculous.

@limbride lol, im playing now 1.5 years on aion, its not about farming your gold and buy armor, thats totaly nonsense, if you wanna be a master in pvp buy abbys armor and jewelery,... and btw you was lvl 36 and what? you think you reached that lvl and you can kill everyone you want and you think you have explored everything and done everything in the game, you're wrong you missed a lot of things.. so thats what i mean people play the game till lvl 30-40 they quit it and say it sucks...

@zottepedj Did I say I had explored everything ? Stop putting words in my mouth. I quit 1 month after release because PvP became awfully unbalanced because of the gold buyers. People running 20-30% faster than others and hitting twice as hard.. very fun indeed. Up until that point I enjoyed it, so don't assume you know what I did and did not do in the game. I don't know if they ever did anything about the gold farmers but after release there were more golf farmers than players.

@limbride at least try to play a game for a few months, or a year and see how you'll become, you said you played 1 month, if you're going to play 1 month of every game that will be released ofcourse you'll get killed in pvp, if you would play further on aion and get better gear you'll beat those gold buyers without any problems, because people that buy that gear with gold it gives bonus for full part, and if you collect piece by piece of your own gear you will be better..

@zottepedj You misunderstand. I never said I got killed in PvP. I killed every class without a problem and had a lot of fun doing it. Went to the enemy territory through portals and killed 20 people at least by myself. I loved it.
What I didn't love was the overgeared goldbuyers. When a party of those guys came along the enemies just left and there was no more action for any of us that day.. Or any day.
Stop assuming I didn't know the game. i studied the gear and game mechanics very closely.

the landskape really sucks bad. PvP seems slow based too, I don't think a mmo that isnt point and click is a very good idea..
