When i did this mission there was a dragon there too. There were mercenaries around the beehives and the dragon burnt them for me. Job done! :)

Force the whole point of the thieve's guild quests is to get your blood pumping while you try to slip through areas without being noticed so you shouldn't kill them.

Worst thing about the thieves guild: you need three loading screens to get there... Riften->Cistern->Flagon. Gets really annoying when doing the restoring the thieves guild quests... especially on a PS3 -.-

I was pretty disappointed with the Dawnstar upgrades. Kind of a let down after spending all the money. Also the torture victims are extremely annoying.

Get the house in Solitude and upgrade it... that's how a criminal mastermind should dwell!

ACTUALLY FORCE, you can pickpocket Aringoth. You can talk to him beforehand to try to persuade him for the key and if he says no, you can still pickpocket him.

I did not know you could 'Stack Armor' on the Mannequins.

that is helpful.

I was running out of Mannequins and now I can stack this stuff...

I do that to save for other missions and to build up a set for followers.

Ecrof is an interesting character since Force doesn't have the time or inclination to craft and thus the game is still difficult at Ecrof's level! As a result Ecrof is a true "glass cannon". He's very effective when hidden but as soon as he's discovered he's in great danger. And, since Force has only spent 1 perk on basic sneak he's not even very good at sneaking! I think this is a great way to play and I wish I would have done more of it myself. Great work Force and keep these LP's coming!!

Lol...silly Force, the moon has nothing to do with auroras in the game as far as I've seen xD Also you can often distract people 'sitting there waiting for you' by shooting an arrow across the room or finding the throw voice shout ^_^

You realise that the the members of the thieves guild (mainly the Night Mother) who specialised in assassination, were kicked out because the guild didnt approve of killing. That's how the Dark Brotherhood was founded.

It's silly that you can just do what you do and other thieves are ok with that.

Brynjolff told you to try not to kill Aringoth unless he leaves you no choice. Aringoth would'nt have attacked you initially. I beat Aringoth bloody and took the key from him. Man these types of games I can't play, it's overwhelming and the combat is very boring and repetitive, the visuals are incredible but a lot of technical details get in the way of your imagination. I prefer story movie like single player games that tell me the story instead of reading crappy dialogue and creating the story myself. END rant.

@edarioq You can play multiple styles of play. Palidan, Mage, Vampire, Stealth. Battle mage. Summoner, Trust me there is enough styles of play. As for the movie style game, just because you like that doesn't make the dialogue in an open world game crappy, lol they are mutually exclusive. I think the fact that its overwhelming is whats bothering you.

Just so you know force, you overlooked a treasure in that room where you killed Aringoth. A golden statuette of a bee.

Just about every Thieves' Guild quest has some treasure or other that you can sell to Delvin for a fair amount of money.
