    Just like Christianity, you can't force people to be Christian your character should make people WANT to become Christians... Why is our foreign policy different. You can't force freedom on people. Especially when we aren't free.

    Just to name a few... Back when Israel bombed the Iraqi nuclear facility, he was the ONLY member of congress who did not vote to condemn Israel for their actions. He voted against every debt ceiling increase... and I know you don't care about the FED. But he authored an audit that was partially passed and revealed that they created $16.2 trillion dollars in 2008 alone.

    There is a video of a congressional speech back in 2001 in which he talked about how the value of gold would go up exponentially because of the inflation.. Back when it was about $150 an ounce. It is $1750 now and rising. And he has always been talking about how our flawed foreign policy would hurt us.

  • @lemonstreet The world is not safe by simply looking to non religious leaders. BTW The first 2 acts of the first Congress was prayer and bible reading. The Rotunda was used for Church services for the first 100 years of our nation and the fulcrum of separation of church and state, Jefferson, faithfully attended church services in said Rotunda. Services by the way that were often held during open session. Bibles and sermons were printed by the early Congress as well. Have a nice day.

  • @buspntr72 I don't think you understand the context of your verse. The Psalmist describes the miseries of the Israelites in Babylonian captivity. Ezekiel experienced this misery too. This Psalmist is most-likely referring to the Israelite catpives revolting against their Babylonian captors. It is very graphic. Careful study, indeed, informs you that the babies being dashed against the stones are Babylonian (not their own...their own being Israelite babies). So this guy clearly is seeking freedom

A good example is King David has many wives, but the prophet Nahum spoke against him proving his cruelty to Uriah and disobedience to God.

Absolutely no pro-lifer I know says nothing should be done about a life-threatening pregnancy. Nobody wants both mother and child to die. If the mother will die, by all means, deliver early and try to save both lives. That's very different from abortion. This isn't a difficult concept.

Neither she nor the baby would have survived if she had tried to carry to term. They removed the child at the best time they could to give both of them the chance to survive. The child unfortunately did not, but their intention was not to kill, which sets their actions apart from abortion.

  • @JudeSkys People don't marry everyone they love. Marriage is the basic family unit, a permanent physical and spiritual bond out of which the family grows (i.e. children). Two gay people cannot, by natural law, produce children or a family. I have no prejudice against homosexuals. I have many gay friends. If they want to live together no one is stopping them. But why do people insist non-marriage must be called marriage?

  • @olterigo LOL @ being southern Evangelical. Way off the mark. And you know what, my gay friends do know how I feel about gay marriage. One of them doesn't like that about me, but we're still friend. Friends don't have to agree with each other on everything. If we did, nobody would be friends.

  • @flamadiddle86 old people cannot produce children. Inmates cannot produce children. Reproductive problems prevent people from producing children. Under your definition of "natural law" these people should also not allowed to marry. Fortunately, the Supreme court ruled otherwise. Your argument doesn't hold water unless you include the argument that only people that can bare children should be allowed to marry. If your not for same sex marriage, you surely do have something against gay people.

  • @slarsonffx Your argument is false because you're comparing an act with physical things (people). Homosexual sex is an act that absolutely can not yield children, regardless of how old or fertile the people involved are.

  • @flamadiddle86 And I think that is the problem. If I church wants to discriminate (and sorry, that word has harsh undertones - I just can't think of another), then so be it. A church is something you choose to be a part of and you choose what you believe in and what you practice. The state should not be allowed to prevent the makings of a family. There is confusion in what people are arguing. Does that make more sense? I feel like the argument is apples and oranges.

  • @JudeSkys You don't seem to understand that homosexuals are merely children in adult bodies. They had a lack of a father figure in their lives; perhaps the mother was overprotective. Perhaps there was a violation. Please take into account the impact of our current culture, mass media, abhorrence towards religion when true (Catholic) Christians actually LOVE and CARE for the homosexual... They're not born that way; they were MADE that way by our perverse society. The words of an ex-gay.
