There is a video featuring a heads up race between a jetengine equipped vespa and a Lamborghini, the vespa acctually had a better acceleration than the Lamborghini! its in swedish though but its cool anyway, the vespa did round about 95mph not bad for a peugeut RS12 blazer.

simple, F=ma, F/m=a , the greater the mass the less acceleration you have, Yes the ferrari has much driving force to offer but the power to weight ratio of the cart is much much greater than that of the ferrari. This is like seeing a motorcycle racing against a fighter jet, this does not mean that the kart is much faster then the ferrari nor more powerful. Also the Jet engine does not need gear shifting, its max power at the very start.

Kart 100HP per 220 lbs = 0.45 HP/lb

Ferrari 400 HP per 3064 lbs = 0.13 HP/lb

That's 4 times more power applied by the kart per pound!

Kart has 300 peak torque at start versus ferrari 275 peak torque at 4750 rpm... that means the kart will always have a higher start acceleration, especially because its maximum torgue is from start.

370at90HP (claim of the jfs-100 manufacturer)= 0.243

2)On 2:52 you see that this engine has a transformer (thrust to torque), then chain-wheels-road. Considering the dimensions of the tire, Ferrari got ~ 2.6 times more drag surface then kart. If Ferrari cant deliver its performance at this low speed (burnout on full throttle) so the kart can do it ~2.6 times less.

Different size tires for different size cars means very little compared to the wind drag the smaller one with a jet engine can cut through like a knife. Also is the jet acting as a spoiler increasing pressure to the ground? Point taken on the weight of the driver though. Kart still has twice the hp/lb, and because of the jet still has a much higher start acceleration

Any calculation is and will be based on nothing in non controlled situation. I am in one club, have cbrr 1000 and have seen a lot of action.
