I have really hard time to hear what is *spoiled* here... but since it's just your opinion, you're entitled to it. Lisitsa is very fine pianist, but I'm confident she wouldn't agree with you.
@fevercovers Richter plays this Cadenza fantastically. There's no doubt that Lisista is an amazing pianist but Richter, Horowitz, Rubinstein and Cziffra were without a doubt the masters of the piano and always will be.
By the way--just look at Richter's hands in the photo--starting @ 1:32. His pinky is larger than my middle finger! Huge, "abnormal hands made him very special indeed.

@truecrypt The cadenza is one of the best i have heard. The first time i heard this concerto Zimerman was playing it...and Ritcher scored higher :)

I probably like Rachmaninoffs recording more, but why compare the two there both better than any of us will ever be!

The begining theme is lovely!I love the cadenza of this concert,full of emotion.I like it too,that I prefer this cadenza to Ossia Cadenza!
