@vstrato Nowdays the vast majority of musicians in any genre use auto-tune, not just pop divas. The reason being that all INSTRUMENTS(Yes, an electric guitar can be auto-tuned), to include the human voice, are not physically capable of being 100% on-key without digital assistance. The differences are tiny, but make the difference between a "natural" sound and one that is... not.

The question, then, is less a matter of IF a singer uses auto-tune, but if they need to it sing acceptably on-key.

Even though the video reduces the original song's length by about a minute, it still does an excellent job showcasing the individual strength of each band member. I, for one, consider it refreshing to see how To-Mera promoted themselves here-- by playing a solid foundation that wasn't cheapened with contemporary flash over genuine musical substance, unlike some other groups. Not to mention Julie is HOT, lol (I absolutely adored her work in Without Face). Can't wait for more guys! Keep it up!

Quite true, the music is very good, but the thing is: the vocals clearly sound unnatural and retouched.

There are ways to use autotune and protools so that the vocals still sound natural, and this is not the case.

They need a better producer or a better singer, but i don't dislike them, you know. . .

Female vocals generaly dominate in alot of goth and Symphonic metal. I wouldnt say female vocals are better then male vocals. Generally when a band has a guy or girl singing it usually completely changes the type of music.

I will say though that to mera is probablly the best female leaded prog metal band.
