Bro hate to say it but chads bass drum skills are not that far above average, any world class drummer plays bass drum with their heel down, Chad doesn't..he also falls prey to many of the same rhythmic patterns...I still love him though and think he's got swag out the wazoo and kicks it in a way only a drummer or rhcp can

Chad is allways good, sometimes great, but after my fancy he plays too "usual", not outstanding enough to be worth being mentioned in the same breath with paice, bonham, simon philipps (or whoever), who revolutionized todays way of drumming.

A drummer should always have the possiblity to explore new sound creations, even if its risky.
