I know this show isn't considered canon, but I personally enjoyed it. It was at least more entertaining that Macross 7.

the anime was great up until the last episode which totally blew... I remember waiting months for the final video to release and when I finally watched it, I was like wth? wtf? As if all the artists lost interest or got let go and they hired some crappy animator or intern to finish the job. But yes, the music is good.
