The bit where Soubi-san seems to die is part of a special ending created for the anime as the books are still ongoing and the series was only given 12 episodes.

the anime is over but the manga countinues volume 9 is being worked on now

fans are hoping for more anime cuz even though its over it did not end it was like discountinued kinda like saying "if you want to see whats next read the manga"

and i don't think the mangaka will kill off soubi, i think the worst possible outcome for soubi is not ending up with ritsuka.

though now there are new posibilities cuz of siemie (won't say why though)
