They tried doing a spinoff with "Capsule Monsters." It contradicted the finale by involving a character that shouldn't have available and it was just plain terrible.

I only watched GX because I liked watching the card game put into a storyline (even if it was a lame one).

5D's is average. The storyline is decent, I just wish they would ride the bikes less.

The whole Motorbikes concept is refreshing to me, I mean. If anyone watches Yu-Gi-Oh because it's a good series, seeing 5d's has a refreshing concept. Besides that, the Show is not all about motor bikes, there's plenty of normal duels and I have to say they are extremely good. Over all, I approve this series. As long as it's the original Japanese Dub, and not the shitty English Dub. That being said, I haven't a clue why all these people are bashing this amazing anime.

@Leonsks I agree, Yugioh is meant to be seen in Japanese. I compared 5d's English Sub VS. English Dub, and I really have to say; The English Dub is a joke. Same with Gx, Sub = Epic Show English dub = Shit.

I recommend you watch the original Japanese Dub Yu-Gi-Oh shows. The voices make a hell of a difference, I promise.

I really liked this series because its more about what really kept me in Yu-Gi-Oh, that it wasn't about the games, it was the serious plot and mature themes that was (albeit hilariously ) based around them like the original volumes before Duelist and Season 0.

If you made the game anything else but cards, it would still work. Well not the tournament arc, it was totally to just show off new cards with some character development for good measure.

I think this Yu-Gi-Oh! is by far the best. It sticks more closely to the themes of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! than Gx did and not to mention it has an ACTUAL storyline. I

t's consistent and not all over the place like Gx. The Duels I feel are a lot more complex and seem to be about using ACTUAL strategy rather than just summoning the most powerful monster.

Yusei only turbo dueled 3 times there, and only 1 of them was interesting. and that was the time he dueled Jack (short haired blonde with big ego, ausi accent). the other two duels were with Bomber (long dark hair, big muscles) and Hunter (spiked orange-yellow hair, country accent). which one did you see? cuz really, only a few of the duels were interesting
