This was a great show when I was growing up, but still not nearly as good as the Andy Griffith Show. If we place the AGS as a 10, I'd give the GP show only a 7, but still a good show. Today, we have to endure crap like 2 1/2 men, and How I Met Your Mother....pure CRUD. BTW, Jim Nabors was a known flaming homosexual, but that didn't stop him from becoming a Hollywood legend in the old 60's sitcoms. And Frank Sutton as the Sarge made the absolute perfect choice for this partnership. Great show!
