I dont know which "version" of Magtheridon it is, but after the first nerf (where you had to have almost your whole raid 15~ or so + backup) to click the cubes because after you clicked it you get a debuff that prevented you to click the cube for 1,5x times longer than the cooldown of the blast nova.

So you have to alternate clickers.

The first incarnation of Magtheridon you had to use 3 people / cube, which they later nerfed to 2 people, then this version in the video where you only needed 1.

Back before Wrath of the Lich King, we could still "chain pot", using a mana potion every 2 minutes. That in combination with mana gems and the fact that I was a Frost Mage during BC for this video helped a lot with mana efficiency.

These days I'm struggling more as I'm spec'd Arcane on this Mage and mana efficiency is tougher :)

From what I remember it's not even the enchant that did the glow - it was the weapon itself. Might be Stormcaller (?) from being Exalted with Thrallmar.

At any rate, it took some getting used to myself. Very bright!

I can't remember the exact patch but it was not too long after the change that made it so we didn't need two groups of clickers. Certainly was before 3.0.2 released at any rate.
