My guess is either the pond was connected with other ponds at one time, OR they they put in to the pond by the city for fishing. Just my guesses. lol I live next door to Minto Brown practically now, I hadn't been to the park prior to last year in about 10yrs, so I never saw this... Thanks for posting this. I wonder how it dried up, was 2009 year a year that was dryer? B/c this year and last year have been VERY wet. Hmmm
So sad to see things like this. Its almost like the planet itself is dying. Coral reefs dying, big dead spots in the ocean, starving polar bears. sigh.. oh and I like your twisted sense of humor with the soundtrack. :)
