There are many great steel players out there who, when I her them I think wow that is superb, then I listen to Buddy and I always think, yes the others are good but buddy puts steel playing to another level.

I think she's even better today, and I agree that her son Ron is a fine singer. Daughter Cathie Lee is great, too, but she's a reluctant star. She seems to like harmonizing more than taking the solos. Last time I saw Leona, Cathie Lee sang harmony on "Apartment #9" and they were fantastic.
