So if the law is MEANT only for criminals to stop selling stolen PS2's to one another, what stops them? I mean, if Bob has a PS2, and im willing to buy it, I give him cash and ...what? a cop pops out of the bushes? Please! I read that resale stores can still transact in cash as long as they get the personal info of people they buy stuff from. If so, we need to hold the sellers feet to the fire to just do that so we customers can still pay in cash! It's a loophole, because they can't just make them not use cash for transactions! Upon confirmation of this, the word should be spread.

Isn't the dollar bill legal tender for all debts, public and private (like it says it is)? If so, this law is unconstitutional. If the secondhand shop is obliged to keep records of sellers anyway, this law is redundant. If individual freedom is good, this law is bad. If taxing the hell out of everyone and everything is part of the master plan, this law is just what 'they' want :(

I know, why not crack down on the people who BUY that stolen copper and make anyone who brings it in get raked over the coals instead of ruining poor little thrift store owners? How about strict guidelines for the companies who BUY copper which is most likely stolen these days? Regulations should be in the metal business, not the junk/second-hand nic-nac business.
