Hermes is a timeless designer. My mother has a birkin 35cm and it is a bag that is so finely constructed, that in my opinion, can't even compare with any other designer. I swear you could put boulders in that bag and it would'nt fall apart haha.

I'm somewhat addicted to Hermes as well. lol I don't like the Hermes on Madison. I have not yet had a chance to check out the Wall Street store. I've heard good things about it though.

I own 3 Birkins in 40cm and 1 Lindy bag and 1 Kelly in 35cm ranging from the togo leather to cyclamen leather with palladium hard wares, I was just in Paris Hermes at the St. George and was told that there's no more waiting list, its a first come first serve basis now. I missed out on a 40cm red croc that i was lusting to buy.

I am not filthy rich or anything, but i worked really- really hard to earn for my living and saved up my money for a lot of years in order for me afford my Hermes bags that i have and own. and don't be worry i am not offended at all as i've stated its hard earned money for a lot of years.

As a matter of fact i am married with 2 kids, i acquired my Hermes collections when i was in my 20's, now everything's about my two kids and my husband of 8 years, we make a good living combined and thanks to our good investments, but now its all about our children's future and college as well as our retirement funds.

Hermes is definitely worth the wait and the price. The leather is of excellent quality and the craftsmanship is outstanding. I have several Hermes bags and that really is the only brand of purses that I buy.

I love hermes and i love the birkin bag, but i never have seen one in real life. I also think hermes is a true luxury brand and all of there items are timeless!
