awesome....love this song (just got the 45 off ebay)...I prefer the album version though...never been a fan of drastic key changes when songs are performed live...I love raw 'cutting room floor" footage!!!!
This was only Sting's cutaway camera from the Synchronicity concert video shoot in Atlanta in 1984. Each guy had a static camera on him. This is just a rare outtake that survived the cutting room floor.
Yeah it's funny that Geddy Lee of Rush didn't never need a back up bass player. He just used his bass peddles while playing keboard. That's talent. plus sings. WOW. Let's see if this newer generation of bands do that.
@mitchcoker Well said! Geddy Lee and every Rush member is just so talented. I still love The Police though, but they stopped being my favourite band when I was introduced to Rush six years ago.
That jacket!

Wow, I had no idea The Police played Invisible Sun during the Synchronicity concert. Those drums sound pure 80`s electronics. lol

Thank you very much for posting this. I believe it's from the 1983 "Synchronicity tour". Rare stuff. They were still young...

Who is Danny Quatrochi ?
Flinh02 2 years ago
Danny Quatrochi has been Sting's bass tech since 1979 or so. He plays on this song and on parts of "Walking On The Moon" at this show.
