  • THis may not be hardcore kettlebells for the stone bitches complaining on this video. By all means its not but its a start for most people not interested in being vein popping out of neck mothras alright. Lighten the @#$! up already. Any activity physical activity is a positive in my book. Give it a rest already.

  • I decided to buy the DVD set as it was on offer at the supermarket, I was after some kettle bells workouts, I thought the bell was light so got a 2.5kg one. Well this DVD is not traditional kettle bells, but it is a good aerobic workout! I want to get fit and lose weight, and this morning I ache from finding muscles I haven't used for too long!

Get it if you want a good aerobics workout, it is fab!!

If you want traditional kettlebells, don't get it!!

  • So what if this isn't the traditional way to use kettlebells? This program gets good reviews on amazon. People who thought they were in shape said this video with the 4 lb kettlebell had them dripping in sweat in just minutes and sore for days. If this method gets people to work out as opposed to sitting on the couch, it's worth it! Who cares if the purists don't approve? To each their own.

  • My mother has quite a bad back problem and some of these moves combined with the low weight has allowed her to get back into exercise. I've been using it and have also lost weight. Not everyone is into extreme fitness and want to be so buff you can see their veins popping out.

  • Not to bash any one person, but if you want to lern Kettlebells then look up Pavel Tsatsouline. He is what I consider the Godfather of Kettlebells in the US.

  • This is a terrible example of what kettlebells are all about.......there is such terrible technique displayed, if you can even call it technique...and with that light of weight .....are you kidding me?! I agree with Grave7 & astarrynite07 the whole Kettlenetics is a complete scam - don't bother people! invest in real KB certified trainer to see results!

  • I think this would be great for my mother she is 71 and it recovering from lung cancer and surgery. I may be for "sissies" but for some people this is the level that that they are at and enjoy. To each his or her own. So you KB purists enjoy yours and let others enhoy kettlenetics if they so choose.

Looks like good workout and fun.

  • I like it!

  • i'm very sad at how Kbs are used in this way! I'm a serious KB lifter and i detest the way they use KBs as gimmick. Why dont they just use a 2kg plastic weight instead! Keep it clean and keep it pure

  • lol so many loud mouths

  • Pavel "style" is not the way. AKC/kettlebell sport is the TRUE Russian style. I DO like how she is MOVING while doing things. I do Systema (Russian Martial Art taught by Vasiliev and Ryabko) and movement is HUGE.

  • Sport Specific training has been shown to be less productive than an approach based on training strength and skills separately.

Train your attributes with proper strength and conditioning methods, train your skills by practicing your skills. Mixing the two often leaves much to be desired in terms of improvement in performance.

  • Excellent workout out for dancers of all types!!! Clear she has an excellent dance background. I'm LOVING this workout. I expect extensions and endurance to increase for any dancer. She works through traditional stretching w/ the strength training added. It's clear, that the KBell is just a modified tool to reach a different goal than traditional KB. Arguing over a tool is POINTLESS. That's like body builders and power lifters arguing over a bar bell. Who cares! Different goals in mind!

  • this is kettlebells for sissies. KB are not meant to be used in this matter. I am a female and I use 18lb kettlebell to kick myself in the ass why? because I want a good workout not a sissy workout using 4lb or 8lb kettlebells.

  • Michelle Khai coached me to a regional bronze in Olympic Lifting. There may be alot of 'style' going on here, but don't dismiss or disrespect. She is an awesome coach and knows her stuff.

  • This is great! She's cool. I want to move like that.

  • Kettlebells aren't meant to be used like this -- a prime example of the misuse of an otherwise superior exercise tool. This is all wrong.

  • What's wrong with it?

  • Not one movement, sans the Turkish Get Up (which was demonstrated with ghastly form) in that preview is going to have any carry over to your day to day activities. When do we ever twirl our arms overhead and pirouette on one foot outside of ballet? We pull, push, run, jump and crawl. Proper KB training develops the individual to move in all these ranges with strength and fluidity that you can FEEL. Call me a KB Nazi, I give a shit. The people I train get results that they can USE.

  • This video looks more fun than traditional KB exercises, and may be interesting to someone who doesn't exercise regularly (and/or can't afford a trainer). Anything that will motivate someone to get up and MOVE is something they can USE. When they graduate from this, maybe then they can move on to "proper KB training", but that proper stuff isn't going to interest everybody - even though it works.

  • You should actually try to understand the goal of this program. It's originally FOR dancers. So, most dancers do IN FACT turn (they don't twirl) and would ONLY pirouette on ONE foot DAILY! Female dancers can't afford to BULK up. They'd be fired. But must be strong enough to hold their own weight when leaping into the arms of another. Adding a bit of wt. to traditional dance moves is BRILLIANT. Adding excessive wt. would be joint damaging!

  • well it works for me!! after eight years of running ...walking...etc..this is the only way i lose inches ... and eat!
