@ninjaturtle205 Thanks for the comment. Sheffield is a great place to live, especially for a student. It's only a medium-sized city but has a huge student population which means the social life is great. It's very safe and clean too. I'm actually from Manchester and I'm currently doing my Master's there too. Manchester's a very vibrant city and huge in comparison. Everything is spread out whereas in Sheffield everything's in close proximity which means it's easier for travelling around...
@SanSpiral ...I don't think I could choose between the two cities to be honest, they're both different. If you want a more independent, diverse atmosphere then you should choose Manchester. On the other hand, if you want a more compact city that is very student orientated then you should choose Sheffield. Hope that helps.
@SanSpiral So hows the overall teaching quality at the university of sheffield, specifically the engineering department? and what do u generally feel, are the students satisfied there?
new park hill flats looks like shit and they are trying to rent them who would pay to like in park hill? all they have done is have colored windows btw good doc :)
@traceradam Thanks for the comment. I know what you mean about Park Hill. During research I asked numerous nearby residents their opinions and 95% wanted the flats demolished, including the current regeneration councillor in the video. It's the first notable sight you see when arriving in Sheffield by road and rail, I just hope the developers do a decent job for Sheffield's sake.
I'm at Hallam and I approve this message.
