Yeah, I don't think he used a tilt lens, because it just doesn't look good. It's probably done in software, but if software can only give results like this, I'd be thinking of getting a tilt lens. Probably too expensive though
Actually you do not. This effect can be done with anything from photoshop to iphoto. And also, there is no such thing as a tilt and shift camera. there are tilt and shift lenses that cost around 1000, which anyone can operate, not only a pro... so about everything you said was wrong.
I don't think that really worked. It still looked sort of normal to me, compared to other people's tilt shift videos. If anyone else agrees I'd like to know why this looks 'normal' and not as good as others. He's got the overhead filming angle right, but something doesnt' seem to work.
