Felt compelled to re-post. My previous comments were made before getting thru the whole film. The best thing in this film are the characters themselves! so, In that sense, great writing. plus, a ton of viewer sympathy for the Nick Santini character in the end... his friends getting whacked really sucked. just wish there was better directing and editing I guess... Not a film expert, just compelled to watch gangster flicks lately.. Eastern Promises, Boondock Saints, Carlito's Way, Goodfellas.

This was a good movie.... it not only showed that transformation of times, from strong arming, numbers running and hi-jacking trucks, to cyber crimes of the young mind in the future. But in the end you're still dealing with gangsters who eliminate any chance of them getting "pinched."

The conclusion of this movie was jaw-dropping. It's crazy how wild a turn-of-events can be and the eight wonder in the world is how far would people go obtain power and get recognized even at the expense of their close ones. SMH. I rate this movie 5/5. A Nice Gangster movie to add to my collection.

This could have been a class A classic gangster film if it was shot in a higher grade format with better directing. With such a large cast of veteran mobster actors, it's hard to believe it didn't turn out better. Plus the music score had little to be desired. And there is only one way out, in a box. Forget about it...

Such original dialogue and plot, haha. I feel like they fed a bunch of mob movie scripts into a computer and this is what it spat out. The first scene alone, they try and fit in every mob term and cliche in the book. Maybe as a Mr. Show sketch this would work, but as a legitimate movie....fagedaboutit. The scene over Japanese food, talking about that hit, my face hurts from wincing. I could write a better script than this making it up as I went along. Maybe that's what they did here.

The movie was average but the ending sucked. The soundtrack was maybe the worst ever. Not one song fit the scene. The lyrics were sooooooo cheesy Kraft turned them down. Seriously, the country of Switzerland declared WAR for the first time ever claiming providence over too much Swiss cheese. Velveeta is now a national holiday because cheese is now so prevalent spilling over from this soundtrack. fuck... it sucks.

This was the worst mob movie ive ever seen. It was like they went out of their way to make this movie bad! I think the whole budget went to James Caans pay for even being in this movie. This should have been on Mystery Science Theatre 3000! It was a free movie and I still feel ripped off.
