Many people don't realize that James Komack, who appears briefly in the first commercial and in various episodes, was actually creator of the series, as well as two other very popular series of the '70s - Chico and the Man (with Freddie Prinze) and Welcome Back, Kotter (with John Travolta)
Thank you for posting the video. I used to watch the show in reruns when I was a kid. I learned that in those days, one product from one company used to sponsor a show.
Kellogg's was a regular sponsor of this series; that's why the cast appeared in "integrated commercials" for their sponsor at the end of the show, just before the closing sponsor I.D....
I recognized the tiles on the House in the background at 0.39 sec as Bill Bixby's Malibu Home, which means he and Brandon had the luxury of shooting the Special K Commercial at Bill's House. I bet Kellogs paid Bill Extra for that privledge too.
@micmac99 Actually, Bill Bixby and Brandon Cruz were great friends. In fact, after Bill's death, Brandon gave his newborn son the middle name of Bixby, in Bill's memory.
Thank you for posting these. It won't turn you green but you might find a special magic trick inside the box! Or check my channel for Mr. Bixby in "The Magician". Keep the Faith, Sam.
I wonder if Eddie knows what special K means in 2011?

I read somewhere that Brandon Cruz and Bill Bixby remained in touch for years and became good friends.
