  • Are you using it with win 7/vista? works fine?

  • @djSllenceKiller no this ones on an imac . if your having troubles with windows 7 or vista 64 bit try updating all drivers .. i had this issue with my dell laptop and resolved it by running windows driver wiz and updating all drivers if that doesnt work try the korg website for 64 bit drivers for the piece of gear your using . The korg nanopad is known to be buggy with 64 bit systems i had to send one back because it was behaving like a 14 yo emo kid on crack . lol . i think it was faulty .

  • upgraded from the padkontrol to maschine now ...

  • Sick, nice setup too

  • yep i was about to get a DJM 800 BAHAHA. I love to mix but im more into using my micro korg and AKai xr20 to produce. I ALMOST blew it lol

  • @traprkpr if you can get your hands on one of these mixers do it ... im still lovin mine and ive been using it every day for around 18 months ... its still going strong with no issues... korgs high end stuff has great build quality ... not to impressed with the cheaper stuff though ..

  • that was a fantastic house mix track!!!!!

were you using the zero4 as a midi controller for abelton effects, or were you using the built in effects and playing it like a DJ mixer?

I have been debating between a Denon X1600 and a ZERO4. This is definitely making me consider the ZERO4 again.

  • @JessicaFae cheers thanks for your positive feedback . i used the built in effects and loop sampler in this vid all the green lit channels are midi mapped to ableton fx racks although i didn't use them in this mix ...i think the korg zero series has been discontinued so if your in the market the only hope would be second hand its such a well built mixer for the price point with so many options and capabilities im hoping they've been discontinued to bring out a zero mk2 series .

  • Hey, just wondering how many outputs there are on the korg ZERO 4, is it just one stereo output, or can you assign 4 ableton channels to a separate channel on the mixer?

  • @kpjjc ok channels 1-4 can accept a direct input via separate RCAs for CD/line and phono as well as separate 1/4” stereo jacks for another line input - so that’s 3 direct inputs per channel. * Via the 18 in/6 OUT Firewire interface *, These audio inputs are shared with MIDI so you can have audio only, audio/MIDI shared or just MIDI. The master on this video was hooked upto channel 1 as audio (sound card mode ). i had no midi hooked up apart from the padkontrol to fire scenes in ableton .

  • Great dude! Thnx for responding! Im totally trying to get one of these things. They come up on Ebay every now and then.

  • Do I need some kind of interface to connect a korg zero 4 to my computer?

  • No u would only need a firewire input port in the back of your computer ... thats the great thing about the korg zero 4 it is an interface ( fire wire ) . You can record straight from the zero 4 into Ableton with all the input selections mic, guitar, phono, line,cd . I really do suggest getting one of these mixer's if your in the market for a new one. The midi controls loop sampler and Korg style effects make it so versatile the possibilities are massive and the price is right ...
