I have to go through "Confirmation" and I think I'll challenge everything that the teacher has to say. After all, knowledge is a sin.

I had to go through Catechism (only once a week...but it sucks) from 2nd-6th grade...now I have to start again!!!

And I have "long" hair for a guy...so I guess that if my teacher says for me to get a haircut, I can tell her to such my dick because her "Lord" had longer friggen hair.

Just curious - you say you "have" to go through the confirmation. Is there a reason? I had to go through it as my home town was deeply catholic and I enjoy the windows of my house remaining intact. As well, they managed to link the grade mark for "religion class" to it. Indoctrination anyone?

Anyway, if I had the choice, I would not have done it at all. I don't believe in any of that garbage.

damn Mark, I thought growing up mormon was bad, but I only had to suffer through one hour a day of religious bullshit (they call it seminary) and not my entire school day on it.

Heh...funny, I attended a catholic school from the 5th to the 9th grade. But religion always remained in the church, and was never mixed into the science classes.

Portuguese government to all schools, even the private religious ones: "don't want to teach the government curriculum? Don't want to use real text-books? Don't want to use national final exams? Well then, your students' academic qualifications will never be recognized. They won't even be able to get their drivers' licenses. MUHAHAHA!"

lol I went to a Christian school...was taught creation instead of evolution in 10th grade..had to wear uniforms (girls had to wear plaid skirts) and weren't allowed to dye our hair "un natural" colors. We could wear jewelry though.
