Hi I am very new to this and I would really like to build my own computer but I dont know much. Please give me some advice on what I should do.

@pokemonshower98 It's easy to build a computer, just line the CPU arrow with the arrow on the motherboard and don't push then just screw in the CD's and put in you IDE cabels to your mother board and you IDE/SATA cabels for your HDD to your mother board and then screw in the PSU and plug the cabels in to the bother board the CD's and the floppy (if you have one) then you're ready to go! Just power it up and install your OS. For more information search around on the internet

can i put a new video card in it

like one that has an hdmi or somthing on it

@jjtheslayer69 As long as the computer can handle and is compatible with the new hardware it should be able to take it.

@jjtheslayer69 Yes, but you will need a good fan or else it will overheat. I rememer when my video card MELTED from the heat once... not good. And also, HDMI is not very good since it puts a lot of presure on your computer and can make it slow. DVI is good enough if you just want it as a gaming computer but for a home theater PC HDMI is the best.

@jjtheslayer69 Then HDMI is not recomended. DVI is best for gaming and the quality is very good anyways. The reason why is, like i said, that HDMI makes it slower and making animations puts quiet a lot of pressure on your motherboard. But it's up to you of course just a recommendation :)
