if i've completed it on normal before i updated my 360 how do i get it?

as long as you have the neccessary achievements you download halo waypoint and go on to it and you will be able to get the awards through that

yes you need to download halo waypoint and if you have the achievements then once started you will get "award unlocked" appear the same way as achievements do

I undlock the archivement "good samaritan"

but the game dosent give me the helmet and the armor.

what difficulty was it? it has to be normal or higher so that you get the achievement for completeing the campaign
