There are several places that have residential property/building codes that don't allow front yard gardens. Not to say that this case isn't retarded. This dollar amount is not indexed to inflation. Think of QE and QE2 or currency changes (which are to be planned).
Furthermore, this $500,000 threshold means that small, successful farms that are doing well and would like to expand will refuse to hire more people or expand their operations. To avoid the tyranny of S 510, small farms will try to stay small, and that means avoiding the kind of business expansion that would create new jobs

And strictly because of the health codes they expect mass produce growers to follow if they are going to be supplying for a large population. @LvEye Well , Michael Taylor works for Monsanto and Obama appointed him "food czar to the FDA " , Michael Taylor wrote the bill and McCain and a few Republicans supported it along with all the Democrats . Unfortunately none of them read it . It is 250 pages long . They had the bill for 4 hours . I would like to assume everyone in the senate is a genius , but understanding a 10,000 clause legal document in 4 hours ? Contact your rep and the Dep of Agriculture , tell them to repeal .

@katylunger organic heirloom seeds is worth more than all the gold on earth lol everyone get your seeds now, make sure they are organic to ensure they are able to reproduce to keep u alive every year! everyone look up gurilla gardens, this means plant food producing plants anywhere and everywhere but make sure the area is not mowed or maintained, or you will loose the plants that you planted lol.

I don't agree with what takes place in the treatment of these farm animals, but this IS NOT THE WAY to stop it... you stop these things by bringing AWARNESS to the public.
Then we make an impact on the profit by not purchasing until they clean their act up. GOVERNMENT CONTOL IS NOT THE ANSWER! at least in this way.... people who torture animals should get longer prison time.... this is how the government should help... and of course stop doing business with comunist countries!
