I agree with your arguments, but the policies the EU pulls are just not right... Ignoring the votes of France, Holland and Ireland on the Lisbon treaty for example, that's just wrong... And I'm not saying that I don't like this continent, there is no other place where I want to life, but like I said the EU is not the way to unite this part of the world. At least in my opinion.

The USA wants Turkey to join the EU, specially stupid George Bush, because they are also with NATO. Infortunately Sarkozy is pro-USA.

In order to join the EU, countries must satisfy some economic criterias, I doubt Albania or Kosovo would ever fit those economic criterias.

What frightens me is that the EU countries implement more and more rules similar to US, Laws which steel our privacy, our rights. There is no reason to put our fingerprints on passports or to sourveil us nealy everywhere (busses, street, shops, internet, phone,...). I fear this will end up in a NWO dictatorship. Why do they build all those camps in the US and why do they store plastic coffins for millions of people. Something is really wrong.

I hate to say this but I think the EU is not our new friends, look at how the sugar industry and gene manipulated crops and food additives are green lighted by the eu and forced upon other country's -against their previous laws.

Swiss banks might be able to pay off dividends because they have been hystorically more cautious and did not invest so much in hedge-founds, being able to absorb the losses in the end.
