@SecretSquaff I have no plans on buying a 360, but I feel the same way. Fez, Spelunky, Owlboy, once those are all out they'll definitely be the best on the system (along with Meat Boy and others). Only other reason I'd get one would be for the Capcom fighters on XBL, which is double-edged, since all of these major developers are getting so DLC crazy.

Another Indie Game worth checking out is The Impossible Game. If you haven't heard of it, go play it. Best $1 (80MSP) you'll ever spend.

Truly lovely lovely game. I also love the art style very much. Let's hope not all the current day kids have been brainwashed into thinking games suck unless they have 10x antialias or pixelshader 7 etc. 3d is not superior to 2d, it is an artistic style and a gameplay choice. I take Zelda, A Link to the past over the N64 ones any time of the day.

Is there also a pc demo or something? I would love to try this out.

If D-pad studio want to earn any money they should think about many ways of distribution, Xbox live is good choice, but PSNstore and Steam also could bring some money.

This is such a unique take for a game I think. It has platform action and it's a very beautiful 2D side scroller. The bonus for me though is it has a RPG element, it would be cool if you could buy Owlboy armor and weapons like in the Castlevania games or Dungeon and Dragon Shadow over mysteria games

Shoot, it seems that the only way you can get a "simple", yet highly enjoyable game is from an indie game. Not to say that commercial games are bad, but nowadays most companies are WAY too focused on making money than making fun/memorable games, and therefore they lack the creativity they once had (and sorely need).
