  • Write in youtube: THE SECRET OF MONALISA- PYRAMID AND ALL-SEEING EYE

  • i dont get why people call him da vinci

coz da in italian means from and vinci is city that he was born in

so callin him from vinci doesnt make sence to me

    but hey thats just me.

  • @martialartist95 He did not have a last name since he was a bastard so instead his last name is replaced by the name of the city where he was born

  • @DragonForceWrath hahahaha i gues youre right

    thx mate :D

    have a good one

  • Holy freak! That's just amazing!

  • nice

  • interesting

  • what software did you use

  • did you use a virtual equipment (like a wacom desk) to make this ?

  • hey guys tell me what does it take to be able to shade that good or what kind of warm-up someone should do before drawing

  • there's really no other thing to do than train as much as you can. I know that sounds like an unsatisfying answer, but that's truly what it takes! Practise with drawings objects near you so you can understand how light works on them and such.

  • It looks so cool!!!

  • what song is this?

  • Just think what the world would be today, if they had actually made Da Vinci's inventions a few hundred years before they found his lost notebooks.

  • o.o

    Cool

  • Your so talented. You supposed to be doing something really big with such talent. Good luck to you.

  • very superduper

can someone tell me what the name of this song is?

  • super

  • nice, I'm quite sure Da vinci would like it, if he wasn't scared out of his mind about the modern world.

  • is that the actual picture of him on the left you can just see a strip of ??? lol

  • sth is wrong with the eyes :D..what did u do when u made another layer?just lower the opacity of the sketch?

  • Genèse.

    Homme synthétique, tu avances.

    Galaxie de plastique, mouvante.

Sons et images, nouveaux gènes de lesprit.

    Ontogénie dune ère nouvelle.

    Intention, absente du projet ;

    Dieu est à construire.

  • really cool

  • hey, nice video! really liked watching it. keep up the good work. check out my artwork video and adobe CS tutorials if you like.

  • bello a parte l'occhio strabico e cmq interessante il modo di disegnare.

  • you can do better?!

    X(

  • I'd like to see you do better, or even near how good that is. That is exactly what Da Vinci looked like. Stupid.

  • we don't really know that, as some experts disagree with the idea that it was really a self portrait of him. The drawing Francesco Melzi (a favorite student of Leonardo) made, is probably much more accurate (and there are some differences compared to this "grumpy old guy").

  • what type of pen tablet did you used?

  • this should get like 2 mil views thats for sure

  • didn't know someone culd draw that good on a computer o.o

  • hey i made a huge 9x9 painting of mona lisa with post it notes for their upcoming contest- please check it out- and vote!! thanks

  • wow u hav talents u can get alot of money if u keep this up

  • That's great!

Can you please tell me what is the name of the song?

  • Holy fuck... Do that again, lol.

  • well done xD!!

  • waooooINMORTALabueloLEONARDOteQUIEROmucho

  • k buena!!!

  • heehee slight memory to mind.. when i was young i only saw da vinci as a cartoon.. at my school library it had real pictures of him.. i said he was freakin ugly! - maybe not freakin i was young.. lol

  • Awesome!, the music is perfect!

  • The music is inside the Soundtrack of Tomb Raider II the videogame...

  • I like the beard, different from the original, but I just like it

  • great job

  • Hats off to that.

  • C O O L ! ! !

  • WOW! Thats all ive got to say

  • jesus albert,,,,just cullunut tiu, quantes hores? fijo q ell no uauria fet millor !

    : )

  • It looks like he should have one of those big yellow fishing hats and a pipe. It might make it original enough you could print it and sell it with out violating copyright laws. I think everyone who trys to recreate this piece tends to turn his head to far to his left. Overall pretty good job though.

  • Good job, the music is from Tomb Raider II

    Right??

  • yup,

  • can you tell which song this is off the Tomb Raider soundtrack?

    thx...great work too!

  • Keep up the good work jesusalbertobf. I use a 9x12 tablet intous3. But i have not painted for a while. I do more and more 3D work these days.

  • thanks!...right now im not working, mi pen got broke but i already ordered a replacement so im waiting just the arrival. btw, excuse me for my bad spelling, english is not my native language.

  • You dont get good by watching awesome works, but practicing. Start by drawing hands, or faces (black and white) Try to block in shadows and light. You can always use the undo :) if you mess up. But first start out SMALL before you get to do big things

  • Another thing, if you want to learn how to paint digitally, u need to buy some equipment like a tablet. The biggest mistake is to compare your work to other digital artists. You end up only to dissapoint yourself and discourage yourself from further learning. .

  • haha youre damn right!! when i got my tablet i really was dissapointed when i compared my work with other guys...but with practice im getting closer to better results...watch my deviantart page if you like... user>> mi-mano-izquierda

  • wow u hav talents u can get alot of money if u keep this up

  • Well, i am not criticizing, but computer artwork and real paintings are 2 different things. Painting on canvas cost a lot more than buying a computer printed artwork. Computer art is easier and much faster to do than drawing on paper and coloring it. Anatomy and color still applies to both to be a successful artist. If u dont know anatomy or color, than it dont matter if u are drawing on paper or computer.

  • i agree on that

  • wath is program???

  • i like this drawing. whats the classical tune to this i wanna download.

  • If you wanna get thsi drawing, simply go to the google website. Click in the picture submenu, and type in: Da Vinci self-potrait. The search engine will display the whole section on him.

  • The person wanted the music. Which I can't find either.

  • Screw the hater, man! That's one heck of a drawing! Outstanding job! I enjoyed it immensely... Isn't that what art is all about? =) Tom

  • Thanks! youre right

  • I ain't hater. If you have more knowledge about the particular subject, then you can argue about it.

  • You used the cheating tools(Computer and leo's picture). Try to draw the whole thing on the real paper.

  • cheating? you have no idea of what are you saying.

  • Wahahha! I hope you don't think that all of those movies, cartoons, animes and other things you like are done without the assistance of a computer. :D

  • I am well aware all of those factors. I can't argue with the animation or any otehr stuff. They are made from the scratch, and the creation is brought back to life. Using the cheating tool to zoom in the picture, and see the shading of the face. That is what I call the cheating. If you do the same thing on the piece of paper, then it would be a challenge.

  • Dude, seriously. Have you ever used these techniques on the computer?

  • I did used the techniques on the computer to draw particular things(including the architectural drawings).

  • Then you should realize, that generally speaking, using a computer makes it more complicated, rather than easier, because there are so many more tools, and techniques you can use. I find it entirely ironic, since Da Vinci was an inventor, and you know what? I'm sure if he were still around, he would use a computer too. And he would kick ass with it. Just like this guy does.

  • I don't think Leo the left would ever used the computer in the first place. He would try to figure out how the machine would work, and try to rebuild something even better. There are disadvantages using the computer:

    1) Makes your body exhausted.

    2) Damages your eyesight.

    3) In the long run, comp radiation will affect your system.

In the end, he would pursue the other things to work on.He was a nature lover.

  • your a chump

  • I can reason with the people, and argue with them. One thing they never do, backup their claim by supporting what are they saying.

  • this guys works awesome!!!! u shouldnt critisize it!!

  • Someone will critize your work when it comes to art and technical drawings. You never know who might that be.

  • I think your kind of missing the point of the exercise. When you redraw a masters artwork, your not doing it for the final piece, or to replicate it exactly. The point is to notice how to capture light and shadow on the page (or in this case the screen). So being able to zoom up close is not cheating, its a tool to enhance what he is able to take out of the practice.

  • I will agree with you on this one, and there won't be any comments from me anymore. I am requesting "Jesusalbertobf" to erase all of my comments, and there is no point in arguing over him. He lived 500 years ago, and we don't even have the clues to determine his Genius.

  • Unlucky, idiot, posts are still up. Everyone can see what a dickhead you've been. I that's what Da Vinci would have wanted. Or something...

  • You pathetic moron. I can critize any piece of art, and state my opinions. You should call someone else dickhead or idiot. Don't get me started.

  • I wasn't criticising you for constructive art criticism, I was criticising for acting like an idiot and chatting bullshit.

  • that's sick. my compliments!

  • you have talent, that's for sure!

  • Bello.

  • cool! great job. watch my videos too :)

  • The music is energetic and stimulating. Is it Mozart? If so, the name of the piece?

  • Thanks all of you for your + comments...Nop the music is not from Mozart, its from Tombraider soundtrack.

  • May I ask if the drawing is your work or a copy? Regardless, your presentation is entertaining and clever. Your selection of the audio meshes with well with the video and its images. Thanks for a nice job.

  • Thanks for watching, well i made the picture in the video but of course the original one belongs to Leonardo Da Vinci :p

  • cool you draw very well

  • nice....

  • Nice! Love the Picture. However, coming from a artist perspective, your picture is some what lacking in shape. As in, you drew the picture beautifully, BUT the overall affect lack the sturdiness of the bones and tissues under the skin. Keep on improving!

  • Wow, the way you drew this picutre, your good as Leonardo! In this pic at least lol!

  • wow! Great job!

  • coooool

  • damn impressive how some people can draw with photoshop!

  • I like iot... so cool!

  • Very nice. :) I like the song too, allways brings Tomb Raider 2 in my mind. :)

  • Same here, reminds me of tomb raider 2, and yeah, brilliant :), what is it called?

  • man, thats imposible

    fascinant!

  • oye qe programa usaste para hacer ese dibujo

  • Adobe Photoshop y una Tablet

  • Gracias por tu comentario, te lo agradesco :)

  • fantastic ! I used to be a good designer and artists, but lost my games design job, and spent the last 5 years in a nervous breakdown not even touching a computer or piece of paper ! Now I can't do anything and don;'t have a clue how to use all these new programs for art and directing !

It would take me all week to do this drawing !

  • That's... amazing.

  • wow, you should do a tutorial!...so jealous people like me can learn hahaha

  • ure works are from imagination or from reference ? The eyes are wrong in this painting..

  • nope, all are from reference, obviously this one too. thanks for the advice!i try to do the best in a short period of time

  • I agree...

  • cómo se llama la canción?

  • Very nice work -- cool idea as well.

What do you use for the recording part of things?

  • Absolutely beautiful. I still need a lot of practice, but you're a real inspiration. :D

  • cómo me jode que no me va la genius.súperbvideo

  • More people need to take a look at your work. I am still amazed at what people can do with a program such as Photoshop. Keep up the good work!

  • thanks! i really apreciate your comment.

  • The grandmaster himself would be very happy with this I´m sure! Technology and art combined to pay tribute to the single greatest brain in both technology and art!

  • This is one of youtube´s hidden jewels one find while browsing thru useless videos, 5 stars for u man. Hey eres MEXICANO! que chingon!

  • Gracias Carnal! saludos!

  • omg so good!.. i cant even draw a proper stick figure. go me. D=

  • photoshopped.

  • What an idiot can put such a text here...

you better go "belgiumnhampster" and pray for more brain

  • Who the heck are you? I can express whatever my thoughts and opinion on any art piece. When you post some sort of art form, and expect any sort of criticism.

  • Very,very good....rated awesome:-)

  • first to comment ^_^ thats awesome, i use photoshop elements 2.0 do you use that in some of your drawings?

  • nope, just photoshop

  • it is great work

  • lol i sell hot-dogs on the street :p (seriously)

  • Such a liar :O

You could sell these easily, or become like a street artist...thinking about finishing up this IT course and then hitting the books to try if i can become anywhere near as good as you. Played around for a month and went from having trouble with stickfigures to not having so much trouble with stickfigures :D

  • lol, im not a liar, really, its our family business, btw thanks for the comment. in fact im triying to learn more and more of digital paint, so maybe one day i start making a little expo.and who knows...jeje

  • Very cool video, you could use your art also in storyboards or videogame concepts or in comics, I would be able half as you with my wacom tablet...i ve got to learn.... ;)

  • Awesome drawings, keep em coming :)

What do you do for a living by the way?
