haha, penn state fan (good game btw) but a warrior at heart. Hawaii's season last year was the most exciting and probably the best time of my life. The Sugar Bowl (despite the loss) was definitely the funnest trip ive ever been on.

Then 10 years later they were undefeated 12-0 in the conference. A team that has a football budget equal to a highschool team. A team that gave everything for a little they have. The only great teams in the WAC is Hawai'i & Boise state. Hawai'i played better than "some" of the mainland teams last year. The WARRIORS are better compared to "some" of the teams in Pac-10,MAC & Conference USA who has twice the budget & a better football recruitment compared to Hawai'i. Not bad for a team that has a peewee budget in football.
Firstly the guy has "Kiwi" in his name, so he's clearly from NZ (New Zealanders and Australians can travel and work between both countries freely so theres large communities of both) secondly I agree he may be ignorant but honestly in NZ and Australia there is a HUGE resentment of American colleges and high schools of doing the Maori Hakas (Kapa O Pango and Ka Mate mainly) under the guise of being "Poly" fact is each culture has HUNDREDS of Hakas and doing them wrong is totally disrespectful.

That said, you've got to concede that they really haven't done anything (in a cupcake division) post-June Jones. On top of that, who have they really contributed to the NFL lately? Education was one of the first things I noticed about hawaii. It seems UH has a great driving school. Not only that, but the pigion 101 class must be at the top of everyone's list. By the way, I'll never forget Ashley Leilie's foot coming down in the back corner of the endzone on a Nick Rolovich pass that won the game in the final moments against Fresno St.@ Aloha Stadium some years ago. USC fan but always "Aloha" for the Warriors!!

haha, penn state fan (good game btw) but a warrior at heart. Hawaii's season last year was the most exciting and probably the best time of my life. The Sugar Bowl (despite the loss) was definitely the funnest trip ive ever been on.

Then 10 years later they were undefeated 12-0 in the conference. A team that has a football budget equal to a highschool team. A team that gave everything for a little they have. The only great teams in the WAC is Hawai'i & Boise state. Hawai'i played better than "some" of the mainland teams last year. The WARRIORS are better compared to "some" of the teams in Pac-10,MAC & Conference USA who has twice the budget & a better football recruitment compared to Hawai'i. Not bad for a team that has a peewee budget in football.
