  • @CAPTAINHURT WE LOST OUR HOME AlSO!! i live in South Gate also. We lived there for 17 years and we got the boot on August of this year. I dont think you dont know whats going on in this economy. The bank gave us bad loans.

  • Keep up the great work! And pay no attention to your detractors, as things like empathy and compassion seem to be foreign to them.

  • this is so sad its happening everywhere :(

  • jeez, these people need to give up what does NOT BELONG to them...these houses belong to the banks...they payed for them up front, these squatters only PROMISED to pay, but didnt hold up their end of the bargain. get these squatters out now. Borrowing for big ticket items is highly risky and irresponsible to all involved. Move into a place you can afford with cash on hand. DONE.

  • @captainhurt can't wait till it's your turn and it will be your turn....tell your story at the mission!

  • @beauandsammy , I expect it will never be my turn, as i plan for the worst scenario, esp when it comes to money.

I've lived in one humble $20k home for 23 yrs that i payed cash for after working 2 jobs for years. We are frugal but have plenty to splurge as needed or for emergency. hoping for the best, planning for the worst. i suggest you and others do the same and then you can be as certain as I am that I will never be poor nor a squatter. (barring a "The Road" (movie) scenario) :-) . Enjoy!

  • @captainhurt what if you hadnt paid cash, but were struggling to get by on payments only to get fucked over by the banks. some people were told (by the banks) that if they missed consecutive payments they could get lower rates. after missing payments they were unable to even pay the old rates and what was owed because the same banks wouldnt accept the money. or what if you lost a job and couldnt make the payments? you say youll never be poor, how do you know.

  • @captainhurt dude, the banks fucked them over. they were told they could make the payments even though the banks knew they were fucking them over. people were lied to about payments by banks that then dont accept full payments and foreclose. foreclosures are occurring out of nowhere without any paperwork. those houses still belong to the homeowners, but banks didnt want to go through paperwork or they wouldnt be able to get the houses (in some cases) and just foreclosed without a fucking title.
